111 - Who Am I?

When you meet someone for the first time, you want to know who they are. So, your first questions might be, “So, tell me about yourself.” To which you might respond by telling them what you do for a living, share that you’re married and/or have kids and/or have grandchildren, and perhaps your hobbies. They might ask further questions or ask to clarify something, and this could go on talking about different aspects of who you are.

In episode 111, Genny shared that this is not really all of who you are. Because there is more to you than what you present to the world; what they see. This info you share is great to know, and it helps others understand who you are. But if you want to know more about yourself; and learn about what drives you, why you act a certain way, why you respond in a certain way, and why some things come so naturally to you, Genny shared there are different modalities, programs, and tests that will give you a better understanding of who you are.

She mentioned Astrology, the Enneagram, Myers-Briggs and the 16 Personalities, Human Design, and Clifton Strengths, and proceeded to share what she learned about herself.

Genny stressed that most of the info you find in a few of these modalities are more generic; that could apply to basically anyone. However, with Human Design and Clifton Strengths, it is truer to who you are. Regardless, it’s something that is fun and enjoyable, and interesting to learn about yourself.
