“Not all who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
In this episode, Genny spoke with her friend Stephanie Robinson. A graphic designer for the past 20 years, Stephanie shared how she came up with the name, “The Culture Detective”. It was over a conversation with her best friend, Teri Hoffard, as to what her strengths were and what she could do in her spare time or, more precisely, what she was already doing. Stephanie liked the name and thought it was a perfect outlet for her creative strengths and talents.
She shared that being The Culture Detective entails travel, eats, and style – her three pillars. It’s about experiences; about seeking out adventures and then creating stories and content, whether it’s nature, being a tourist in your own city, or discovering new coffee shops!
Speaking of which, Genny and Stephanie share a love of coffee. In fact, they first connected on Instagram and one day, Genny invited Stephanie to meet her for coffee. And that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
