SPEAKER_01 (00:09):
We're on the line.
SPEAKER_00 (00:10):
We're on the line.
Hopefully, we're recording.
SPEAKER_01 (00:16):
Hopefully, we're
recording this time.
Yeah.
And it's we just did a 45-minutepodcast to ourselves.
SPEAKER_00 (00:24):
It was very, it was
very enlightening.
Oh my god, I wish you werethere.
It was it was so powerful.
It's changed me forever.
Um, but here we are on anovercast day by the lake.
It's fall, it's November 3rd.
Happy birthday to my son.
Uh I love you very much, Sam.
SPEAKER_01 (00:46):
Happy birthday.
SPEAKER_00 (00:47):
And as November 3rd
is our launch date for our new
school.
Everybody, cheer.
Yay! So what's what's ourschool, Hillary?
Talk about our school.
SPEAKER_01 (00:57):
This is already
turning out better than the
45-minute one.
Oh my god.
Um yeah, so Tyke's all excitedtoo.
Yeah, so we have been planningfor the last couple months,
really, just getting togethermaterial, understanding what we
really want from this onlinecommunity.
(01:20):
It's going to be hosted onschool, S-K-O-O-L, and it's
going to be a community to learnhow to reprogram your mind,
learn techniques to help youwith your mind, learn reframes
(01:43):
to help your mind.
And it's sort of going toencompass always laughs when I
say this, encompass this mind, body, soul idea, right?
So personally, I like to workwith soul, so I'm gonna be
heading up courses on that andtechniques with that.
(02:07):
And it's going to be a placewhere people can come together
and talk about if they want whatthey're going through, what
they're learning.
It's also going to be a placefor hypnotists to join if they
want, to learn, continuingeducation for hypnotists.
We just got back from aconference and and the
(02:28):
hypnotists there were prettyexcited to join.
And so they'll be they'll belearning things like parts work,
things like past liferegression, stuff like that.
And and I think we have it inmind at some point to offer our
NGH certification trainingthrough it.
(02:49):
Yeah.
I don't know.
SPEAKER_00 (02:51):
You could probably
it comes at a time when we're
making a shift, and the shifthas sort of been guided by
circumstances and just sort ofthe waves of of what we do.
You know, the podcast has alwaysbeen really important to us.
And for me, sort of thatoutreach, that opportunity to
(03:14):
connect with people and ask forfeedback.
It's not that we won't dohypnosis in the chair.
We're gonna do that, but we'reprobably gonna do less of that
and really focus on this:
putting out there the materials, (03:24):
undefined
the recordings, the meditations, the information to help you
understand your mind.
You know, we're calling it theinfinite mind school because
your mind is infinite.
And we think there's an infiniteamount of information you can
(03:44):
gain about the mind and yourmind and how to use it.
And we think that when you do,the possibilities are infinite.
You know, the the mind is reallythe center of your existence.
It's really the tool that wejust don't use enough and as
well as we might.
(04:04):
And it is the filter throughwhich we have experience, how we
interpret and and put meaning onall of the events of our lives.
So it's really an infinitetopic.
And so to share the story, I wasworking with a client and we
(04:25):
went to the other side.
And when we go to the otherside, I always take a moment and
I'm a little bit selfish becauseI want feedback from the other
side.
I want to, I want, you know, when I take my client to the
other side, that's usually theirfirst or second experience of
that.
And they don't know whether I'mdoing it well or badly.
And to be honest, neither do I.
(04:46):
And so I like to ask the otherside, how how did we do?
Is this good technique?
Are they in a good place?
Is the technique a good one?
And so when I took this clientto the other side, I just said
quickly, I just want to know howwas my technique?
Did I do a good job?
And their answer was reallyquite stern.
(05:06):
They said, Yeah, yeah, you didfine, but you should be helping
a lot more people.
And I was like, What?
Yeah, you were meant to help alot more people.
And I said, Well, is that, youknow, hypnosis in the chair or
online stuff?
And they said, just you decide, but get on with it, kind of
thing.
And that so it was really kindof a challenging and
(05:28):
inspirational moment to sort ofmove through.
I find this whole thing to bevery intimidating.
I find it to beanxiety-producing.
I have all my own little mentalissues about, you know, fear and
what's going to happen when wedo this.
And are we going to do it well?
(05:50):
Am I going to do it right?
Am I going to, you know, I'malways concerned that I'm doing
the right thing.
I want to want so badly to behelping people.
Anyway, you know, and I woke upthis morning anxious as hell
about doing this.
And so here's the reframe forthe day.
I found this a couple of monthsago, and I've been using it
(06:12):
pretty much multiple times aday.
I acknowledge the fear and I actanyway.
I acknowledge the fear and I actanyway.
The reframe we often use inhypnosis is fear is a warning,
not a wall.
(06:33):
Fear is an opportunity to besafe and take good care of
yourself and do the right thing, but it's not meant to be a
block.
Fear is not meant to stop you.
Fear is not meant to keep youfrom acting.
Fear is meant to keep you safewhile you act.
And so, you know, fear is awarning, not a wall.
(06:56):
And so I acknowledge the fearand I act anyway.
And I find that helpful.
And so that can be our reframefor the day.
We're entering into somethingthat I want, I want it to become
big.
I want it to become reallyhelpful for lots and lots of
people.
I want it to be a tool thatpeople use to break through the
(07:19):
limits of their mind and livereally deliberately, really
freely, pursuing their curiosityand really expressing their
creativity and who they are, making choices to do the things
they really want to do.
Those are, you know, it's soeasy to admire people who are
(07:40):
out there doing that, right?
They they acknowledge theirfear, they act anyway, and they
act upon their creativity, expressing their true authentic
self.
And I think that's why we'rehere.
And I think that the mind getsprogrammed, gets clogged up,
gets in its own way a lot oftimes.
(08:03):
And that's that's what we do.
We help people get through that.
So we're doing it online now,and we're doing it in the form
of courses, we're doing it inthe form of lives.
We we want lots of lives, wewant your feedback, we want your
questions, we want yourinteraction.
We're gonna be doing the podcastbasically live for the next
(08:26):
little while.
We believe that this school willbecome most effective, most
useful, most helpful when allyou people interact with us.
And we have a following on ourpodcast that we want to invite
to be part of this, and we wantto start being much more
(08:49):
responsive and interactive.
So, with all of that said, we'regonna do podcasts live.
We're going to be opening up themessage board and chat board on
the school looking for yourfeedback, looking for your
interests and what you want topursue and what you want us to
create courses.
The courses are gonna have aformat to them, they're gonna be
(09:13):
a series of short lessons withmeditations that help you lock
in any kind of reframe that youcan.
There's always the invitation toreach out to us to do hypnosis,
but more importantly, we lookforward to your feedback on what
we produce so that we can tailorit and enhance it and turn it
into what you need.
(09:34):
And the hope then is that lotsof people come forward and start
engaging in the school.
The idea is to really we seesort of three groups of people.
The the first group of peopleare those who just want to try
us out and test it.
And and you should, just to testit, just to see is this gonna
work for me?
(09:54):
Is this gonna be helpful for me?
And so there's going to be sortof that free have a taste
option.
Then there's going to be amembership, and the membership
is going to essentially be aboutthe people who we are most
responsive to.
The people who join in asmembers are going to really very
(10:16):
much shape the direction theschool goes and what kind of
content we're constantly puttingout there.
And it's our intention to beconstantly putting content out
there.
And then there's, we thinkthere's a whole world of
hypnotists that can gain fromthis.
We gained from listening toother hypnotists talk about the
(10:37):
techniques that they use and theways they approached things.
And just looking at the stuffthat we produce will give
hypnotists the opportunity tosee new ideas.
I mean, the goal is to help asmany people as possible.
And I'm not terribly concernedthat some hypnotist comes on to
our school and says, Oh, I likethat technique, I'm going to use
(10:58):
it.
For me, it's yeah, go for it.
You know, you have my everypermission.
Whatever technique I'm usingthat you think might work with
your clients, yeah, the goal isthat we really, really help the
collective mind.
And so, you know, we thinkthere's value there, and there's
also going to be stuff thatwe're going to target directly
to hypnotists.
(11:19):
And in the spirit of that, Ithink that all of us who are
hypnotists come to the table, having had an experience of
hypnosis that helped us.
We approached hypnosis for helpin making changes.
And that's when we fell in lovewith the technique.
That's when we became curiousabout how we could use it for
(11:39):
others.
And so I think as an individualwho's exploring hypnosis as a
methodology to address thatwhich isn't working in your mind
the way you want it to, youmight be drawn to becoming
hypnotists.
And that's part of what we'reopen to is helping people become
hypnotists and helping others.
(12:02):
So this is in so many dimensionsan attempt to really expand the
circle of people who we can helpwith hypnosis and most
importantly, understanding andshaping deliberately your own
(12:23):
mind.
SPEAKER_01 (12:24):
Yeah, that's
beautifully said.
Just off the top of my mind, things coming up that we're
gonna be teaching and talkingabout and doing lives on, even
podcasting about is reframes.
Talking to your body, which isexciting for me, because that's
(12:45):
what I teach many, I've taughtit many times anyway, at
conferences.
Money in the mind, I think, isis gonna be a great course.
Removing limiting beliefs thatthat are uh stopping us from
delving into money and and beingfearful of money.
(13:08):
The latter you're talking aboutteaching.
The latter is a way of againlooking at limiting beliefs.
I think a lot of stuff justboils down to limiting beliefs,
honestly, in life.
So we're going to be uh teachingand bringing through, bringing
people through a lot of that, alot of that kind of work,
(13:29):
reprogramming their mind.
Uh in the school, again, likeLes has said, we want people to
be asking questions.
Uh if you're somebody who likesto ask questions in a feed, then
you can ask in the feed underthe category of questions.
If you don't want to ask themout loud, you can direct message
(13:50):
us in the school and we'll talkabout it with you.
We want this school to be a safeplace, right?
A safe place for individuals, for hypnosis professionals.
I have seen way too many, waytoo much where hypnotists,
especially new hypnotists, willbe scared to ask questions or
(14:12):
get sort of wrecked in commentsafter asking a question.
And that's just not allowed inour school.
Any question is a good question.
And it will be moderated, right?
SPEAKER_00 (14:29):
Yeah, I I think that
you know it will be a safe
space, it will be a place wherepeople come together for the
purposes of learning about theirmind and addressing the issues
they have with their mind andimproving their experience of
life by improving the processesof their mind.
(14:52):
And with that, you know, there'sgoing to be this this podcast is
out there.
We're going to share the crapout of this podcast.
We really want as many people astruly interested in this.
And I know that attempting to dothese podcasts live is going to
be both enticing, I hope, forthose of you who are engaged in
(15:15):
the podcast, because you knowit's it's your opportunity to
really ask questions and directthe conversation and get to know
us and us get to know you.
But it's also going to be, I'msure, intimidating.
Jeez, do I do that?
Should I do that?
Is that safe for me to do?
(15:35):
And so I think it, I think itis.
I think we've been around longenough that those who know us
know what our goals are.
I think we've been doing thislong enough for those of you who
are listening to know that wereally do care and we share in
some of these difficulties, andthat the best, certainly the
(15:56):
best that I have to teach comesfrom the difficulties I've been
through and been able toovercome.
And so we want you toacknowledge the fear and act
anyway.
We want you to take a deepbreath and say, I'm gonna make
my presence known to these stateof mind folks.
And and join the school and bepart of things and help us shape
(16:20):
it, help us turn it into thekind of thing that you can use
every day in your life to helpyou move forward and have a much
softer, happier experience oflife and move past those things
that up to this point have been, you know, rocks in the road.
SPEAKER_01 (16:43):
As you if you're
sorry, if you're listening to
this and you don't have accessto, say, our Facebook to click
the link if you want to join uslive, then join the school and
the lives will all be in thecalendar.
(17:04):
You can add them to yourcalendar if you want, and and
the link will be there for you.
SPEAKER_00 (17:12):
Yeah, we're taking
advantage of this shift in the
clocks.
We're now back to Eastern time, not Eastern daylight savings
time.
So it means that I'm waking upan hour earlier.
And so we're gonna commit to 7a.m.
each morning, which allows it tobe 7 p.m.
on the opposite side of theworld.
So we're hoping that captures alot of people and those who
(17:34):
can't sit with us live, and youdon't have to, of course, the
recordings will be there.
SPEAKER_01 (17:41):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (17:41):
So we're gonna make
sure that on our Facebook, on
our social media of all kinds,Instagram and such, on our
website, and on the school areall the ways for you to access
us.
So you'll have our Facebooknames, feel free to reach out,
friend, all that stuff.
(18:03):
You're gonna have the link tothe school.
It'll be on our website.
Most of you have our websitealready, somhypnosis.com.
SPEAKER_01 (18:12):
It'll also be in the
show notes if you're listening
to this on like Apple or Spotifyor something.
It'll be in there as well.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (18:24):
So I hope you'll
join us.
I hope that this adventure, nowthat it's off the ground, I hope
that this adventure turns out tobe really fruitful for all of
us.
SPEAKER_01 (18:37):
Mm-hmm.
Absolutely.
Okay, well, we're going to thegym in a few minutes, so we're
gonna get out of here.
But yeah, check the show notesor the well, wherever you see
this podcast, we're going tohave a link somewhere.
All right, we'll see you later.
