Speaker 1 (00:01):
I've seen
entrepreneurs seasoned,
successful women talk about thebig vision they're ready to step
into, but behind the scenes, their actions tell a very
different story.
In today's Minnesota, I'msharing how to recognize when
you're unconsciously stallingand the simple audit that can
unlock real momentum without theoverwhelm.
Imagine stepping into your nextlevel of business and life even
(00:23):
when it feels a little messy, without waiting for the perfect
moment.
Imagine stepping into your nextlevel of business and life even
when it feels a little messy, without waiting for the perfect
moment, because if you'rewaiting to feel ready, you're
quietly putting your dreams onhold and no one else will move
them forward for you.
Hi, welcome to the Connect withSheila Botelho podcast.
I'm committed to helping youreconnect to your purpose,
(00:44):
elevate your well wellbeing andbuild your version of a happy,
successful life.
You're listening to a mini-sodewhere I share an insight
designed to help you live into.
What lights you up this week.
We often say we want growth andI have been here so many times
but if we're honest, our actionssometimes tell a different
story.
I've seen it in the wellnessspace for years and I've seen it
(01:08):
in business.
People say they're ready tofeel better, to live healthier,
to move their bodies more andyet when it's time to take
action, even small, simple steps, they stall.
Not because they don't care, not because they don't really
want to, but because somewheredeep down they're still holding
(01:29):
onto a belief that this will behard, this will take forever,
I'm not ready yet.
And that belief quietly rulestheir choices, like a beautiful
home that gets cleaned beforethe cleaner arrives.
They think they need to fixthemselves before they're
allowed to start.
That was me as a kid.
My dad got me a cleaning job athis friend's home and the
(01:53):
friend's wife would clean thehouse before I got there, and I
always wondered why that was.
And what was interesting is itdid give me this message that
everybody needs to show upperfectly before they can start.
Interesting how that stuck withme.
So I see this showing up inbusiness too People who are
(02:17):
waiting to launch until there'sthis perfect case study, waiting
to show up until they look acertain way or have a certain
credential.
But here's the truth the futureversion of you is built by the
action, not by perfectpreparation.
Growth isn't supposed to feelcomfortable at first.
(02:38):
It's supposed to feel liketrying on gorgeous new shoes.
Try and keep this in your mind.
They look amazing, but rememberit takes a few wears before
they start feeling like home onyour feet.
So here is your gold nugget fortoday you don't have to feel
completely ready to start movingtoward your next vision.
(03:00):
You just have to be willing toshow up with what you have today
.
So my invitation for you thisweek is do a little self audit
and ask yourself where are you, unknowingly waiting for a
perfect moment that's nevercoming, and what's one small
step you can take now, even ifit feels new and a little
(03:23):
uncomfortable?
Your next level self is builtone step at a time.
Give yourself permission tobegin.
If I had a dollar for everytime I have been in this place
myself over the years, there'dbe a lot of dollars just from
that.
So I'm here with you and I'mcheering you on, and if you
(03:47):
haven't yet, check out the newpodcast trailer that I just put
up, and if you're loving theseconversations, it would mean the
world if you would leave aquick review on Apple Podcasts.
I'd love to hear what's landingwith you.
Have a beautiful rest of yourweek and I will see you on
another episode.
Big blessings.
