It's a common occurrence: a person wakes up in the middle of the night with sleep paralysis and/or feeling attacked and notices a shadow person standing in the corner or at the end of the bed. Is the shadow entity attacking the person lying in bed like some sort of energy vampire? In the case of Old Hag Syndrome, this being may be sitting on his or her chest pressing down and keeping the person pinned. What can we make of these harrowing cases and how are they different from other shadow person cases during the waking day? Not all shadow people are the same. Based on my work in the book A Walk in the Shadows: A Complete Guide to Shadow People, and a follow up to all the questions I've been receiving since History Channel has replayed the Shadow People episode I appeared on.
