In this episode we speak with Jason Flom who was head of A&R at Atlantic when The Corrs appeared for a meeting unannounced and after he heard their sound, agreed to sign the band to the label. Jason was one of the first music executives to recognise The Corrs' unique sound and enjoyed it. This meeting ultimately led to working with David foster and the production of the band's first album 'Forgiven, Not Forgotten'.

Join me as we discuss Jason's journey in the music industry and what it was like to have such a well-developed and unique band appear ready to be signed on the spot.

As mentioned in this episode, a photo of the tape handed to Jason by John Hughes and the band at their first meeting can be seen here.

A special mention goes out to Freddie Mercury (Jason’s dog) who gave his incredible vocal talents freely for a portion of this episode.
