No mucking around this week, Marko has come in hot. At the start of the show Marko raises a 'first world problem' to do with his insanely expensive bed, specifically to do with the remote control. How on earth will he get through this terrible situation.

Ox has made a decision about golf trips with his mates. It's to do with the sleeping arrangements with his mates, driven by complaints about bad nocturnal behaviour from his group of mates. Marko raises something that he doesn't like on trips with mates, and Ox is in vigorous agreement. Leads to Ox requiring the cone of silence to reveal some stories about Melbourne Demons footy club trips, and what the Dees called 'the Monkey Committee', made up of Garry Lyon, Todd Viney and Brett Lovett.

Ox bangs on again about Temu, the website he has found and loves. He is spending a small fortune on it. Marko is fast becoming a fan.

Civili Selfishness. Ox lines up Marko, he believes Marko is being selfish. Specifically, Ox believes Marko's kids are being selfish in requiring lifts to and from school. This brings up a business idea of Marko's about schoolbags for kids. Ox then raises another business side for schoolbags, inspired by Back to the Future.

Marko suggests that we do an episode of the podcast live from Geelong, given Ox lives there and Third Man loves Geelong. Ox raves about the Corio Roadhouse's sambo's, and tells a story about being in Vegas and his mate recommended he try the sambo's at the Chicken Ranch in Vegas. Turns out the Chicken Ranch is not a takeaway food place, but something slightly less wholesome.

Ox reveals that he does not rate Caddyshack. Marko and Third Man are horrified. Caddyshack 2 however, everyone agrees was awful. We chat about appalling sequels.

We have had some feedback, quite a bit, including a message from family member Brooksy, on something that Ox said a couple of weeks ago which is a clear indication he is getting old. To do with a conversation around Married With Children (here), where Ox made an error. Ox doesn't believe it and believes Brooksy misheard, so we go to the tape. Family member Alan who reckons we should stop yakking about KFC and pump up small businesses. Ox encourages it, if you have a takeaway or small business let us know and we'll pump it up. Message from Mark (not Marko) who wants Marko to stop saying 'Hey Siri' on the show as it is causing issues for him.

We have a Can We Still Be Friends question from Dave in Launceston about the TV show Married at First Sight, love your thoughts.

And with Ox wearing a 'golf father' t-shirt today, the wheel lands on a 'godfather' joke...extraordinary.

As always, we're here thanks to Paul & Kurt at the E&S Trading Clearance Centre in Clayton, Melbourne on Dandenong Road - right opposite Ikea. After an incredible deal on amazing gear? You won't believe the prices....absolute rippers!

We'd love you to follow a Couple of Blokes, and get involved with the show on social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. If you've got a comment or feedback, feel free to send a voicemail to Ox and Marko here. And don't forget to subscribe, rate and review the podcast wherever you listen!
