In this episode we have Mike Sheppard who served 6 years in the Air Force, and 36 years as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic in Los Angeles, CA, and in the state of Oregon. We get into how addiction affected his personal life, his kids and how it eroded his marriage of 28 years. How he started his life over at the age of 55, what he learned and how he overcame it and has now found balance and happiness with his new wife.
