I’ve got a really fun, vibrant and inspiring conversation to share with you today. Which is also how I would describe today’s guest: Chardét Ryel, who is a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, Wellness Coach and the Owner and Founder of Corpão Fitness. She has her own YouTube channel, as well as a podcast called The Feel Good Nak’d Podcast for Women. She is also the creator of The Rio Project: 7 Steps to Feel Good Nakd, her signature one-on-one coaching program, which is all about transformation from the mind outwards and finding the confidence to be your strongest self.
I’m really delighted to have someone from the fitness world on the show who approaches fitness and wellbeing in a way that goes beyond the physical. As I’ve mentioned before: I believe that feeling a sense of wellbeing in our bodies is essential for our ability to tap into our peak creative potential.
As you may have been able to tell by now, Chardét is also a prolific creator and a dedicated entrepreneur. In today’s conversation we also talk about how Chardét optimizes her creativity and structures her work day to set herself up to succeed creatively.
There are so many juicy parts to today’s conversation. Thank you all for being here and listening. Let’s dive in!

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
