Hi, love.
Today we're going to talk aboutmanifesting and how you can use
manifesting to create the lifeyou want.
After divorce, i am obsessedwith this topic.
It has been really a largefocus of my life for the last
year, i think we're alwaysmanifesting all the time.

(00:55):
First things first.
You're not manifesting rightnow.
You're already manifesting, butwe're going to talk about how
to do it with intention tocreate the life you want.
This has definitely been ajourney for me and one that I
would love to shortcut for you.
Wouldn't it be nice if we couldnot have to take as long to find

all the delicious goodness inlife?
First, establish what doesmanifesting mean?
I love how Abraham Hicks callsthis, because she just says
manifesting is the process ofturning thoughts into things.
Oh, that makes sense.
Right Here I'm in this house.

(01:38):
Somewhere someone had a thoughtabout how to build a house and
they took that thought and thatidea and the momentum they felt
around building and they turnedit into a thing, something that
we experience, that we have inlife, whether it's a material
possession or it's a job or it'sa relationship.
It started with a thought, anidea that perhaps had a lot of

(02:03):
desire wrapped around it.
So when we acknowledge ourthoughts and then we create a
nice runway to turn thosethoughts into things, this is
the process of refining thatthoughts into things runway so
that you can stop sabotagingyourself, maybe stop getting in

(02:26):
your own way.
Does that sound familiar,perhaps?
And so manifesting is a processof turning thoughts into things
, and how you start is bygetting really clear that you're
in charge of your thoughts andturning them into things.
So taking full responsibilitythat what is currently

(02:49):
manifested in your life is areflection of thoughts that you
had at some point along the way.
Now that may be a bitter, effingpill to swallow.
Dawn, i think you just told methat what I'm experiencing is my
fault.
I did not say that because Idon't believe in fault.

(03:09):
Fault comes from blame.
Blame is a way of staying stuckin low self-esteem, low
self-worth, low vibration.
It lacks grace.
It literally leaves us on thelower half of the emotional
scale, not being able tomanifest our dreams and our

(03:29):
desires.
So blame is like in victimhood,like I can't, he can't, they
can't I everyone else can, but Ican't, not me, i'm not worthy,
i, it must be me, i must be theproblem.
Thank you, taylor Swift.
So how you start is by reallyradically owning that what you

(03:50):
think is what you create, and ifyou can work with that and get
past being mad at me for sayingit, it will be on the right
track.
So the next thing to look at ishow to manifest something.
Well, if we just operate fromthe premise that what we think

(04:14):
about is what becomes in ourenvironment, then what is it
that you want to manifest?
If you want to manifest adifferent relationship or a
different job or a differentfinancial situation or a
different I don't know, you nameit health situation.
Right, i work a lot onmanifesting health And you have

(04:39):
to really become emotionally thevibration of the thing that you
want.
So there's this really coolemotional scale that goes from
despair maybe even there'ssomething lower than despair, i
can't remember, but despair allthe way up to like bliss, and in

(04:59):
that emotional scale, everyemotion has a vibrational
frequency, just like hmm, didyou ever play the xylophone or
hear the xylophone when you werein high school?
I was a band nerd, so maybethis example rings for you,
maybe it doesn't right, but eachbar that you would hit with the

(05:20):
mallet, it resonates, itvibrates, and there's a
corresponding tone we hear inour ears, right.
So emotions are just like thosenotes on a scale.
Whether it's a piano or it's axylophone, it has a vibration.
You can feel it.
If you've ever been at aconcert or a club, you can feel
the vibration of the music.
Emotions are the same way.
Everything really in ourreality is vibrational.

(05:43):
Everything is energy.
We are all made up of energyAnd vibration in emotion has so
much to do with how we manifestour thoughts into things.
Now, when we are havingthoughts and corresponding
emotions that are high vibe andthey're higher on the emotional
scale, then we are calling thosepositive things into our

(06:06):
existence.
We are turning positivethoughts into things.
Where people tend to get boggeddown is, let's say, we create a
vision board And vision boardsare so powerful because they are
tools for manifestation.
But if you create a visionboard and then you don't do any
work to tending your mentalemotional garden, that vision

(06:28):
board is gonna take a lot longerto come to pass.
So the key is to get clearabout what you want.
That's another key.
A lot of people often are hyperfocused on what they don't want
, which is lower on thatscarcity right.
So get focused on what you wantand then tend your mental and

(06:49):
emotional garden so that you canfeel happy, so that you can
feel desire rather than anabsence of desire and absence of
joy.
Now, when manifesting in love,this is one of my favorite
topics, because manifesting loveversus a relationship, versus a

(07:09):
hookup, right So like, let's beclear, what is it that you
wanna manifest?
If you wanna manifest love andwe understand that your thoughts
turn into things well, whatkind of thoughts would you need
to have And what kind ofemotional vibration would you
need to have to turn yourthoughts and your vibrations
into love?
And I fricking love this,because it means sweet one that

(07:36):
you have to fall in love withyou, because how could you have
negative thoughts about yourself, how could you have negative
emotions about yourself and callsomeone who thinks and feels
about you that you're magical?
right, when you get clear inyour thoughts and your emotions

(07:58):
that you are magical, you willmanifest a love that is so
powerful.
Now, the other thing to keep inmind about this, because
sometimes you wanna know how canI attract my soulmate?
I actually think that these aretwo different.
They really are two differentinquiries.

(08:18):
You are gonna attract yoursoulmate.
No matter what Your soulmate iscoming.
You cannot screw that up.
You are going to attractsoulmates.
They're not just partners,their children, their friends,
their coworkers.
We have all kinds of soulmatesin life, not just romantic ones.
Right, You are alwaysattracting those things.
But you are going to attract amate based on where you are

(08:43):
vibrationally.
So if you are resentful, if youare feeling shitty about
yourself, if you are feelingsmall, if you are feeling
helpless, you are gonna attractsoulmates that have this similar
vibration.
And, ps, some people who trulyhave a small vibration.

(09:04):
They feel small aboutthemselves.
Those are the people that comeacross as angry, because that's
how they manage that, right.
So you're going to beattracting people who either
have equally low self-esteem andor come across as oppressive
and abusive.
And right.
So you're going to attractsoulmates, because soulmates are
meant to help us really expandinto the fullness of our souls

(09:30):
And sometimes love.
When we have not gotten it yetthat we're magical, those
soulmates are there to help ustransform our perception.
So, aka, we grow through pain.
So you're going to attract yoursoulmates.
Your ex is your soulmate, notin the way you're used to
thinking about it, though, right, you're like screw you Don is

(09:52):
not Yeah, because everythingthat we attract to us is meant
to help us level up, and somanifesting in love is really
about finding vibrations of loveinside of us.
Attracting your soulmate isgoing to happen whether you like
what you attract or not, butyou get to decide how well

(10:14):
you're going to tend yourthought feeling garden so that
your soulmate feels delicious orfeels like a lesson.
Right, can we, can I?
I'm sure you agree that youwant to be done with the lessons
now.
You're ready, you're ready forthe deliciousness?
right, let's talk about how youcan attract money.
Well, so often I mentioned thisa moment ago we are focused on

(10:37):
what we don't have or what wedon't want, rather than what we
do.
So so often with money, thereare a lot of thoughts and
emotions that we have around nothaving enough of it.
We get really scared about nothaving enough of it And we get
really angry about not havingenough of it And we kind of
ruminate on feeling stuck aroundthat And then we do behaviors

(10:59):
according to it, like maybeavoiding things like Oh, i see
this a lot.
Maybe avoiding doing theself-care, things like paying
for the therapy appointment, thechiropractor appointment, the
Reiki appointment, like notwanting to pay for the things
that are actually going to helpyour vibration increase, because

(11:19):
you're afraid to spend themoney, because you might not
have enough.
So this is how I've alwaysmanaged money around health and
well-being.
I understand that the more moneyI spend in really fulfilling
places that help me heal andhelp my vibration rise, i know
that automatically, by doingthose things, the money is going
to come back to me because myvibration is going to rise, i'm

(11:40):
going to go higher, i'm going tofeel better, i'm going to
attract things at a differentlevel.
I'm going to be manifestingpositive thoughts, more positive
thoughts, into things, becauseby healing I'm shedding baggage,
i'm shedding toxins, i'mshedding pain.
So the more pain we can putdown and let go, the higher we
float, the higher we rise andthen the more magical the things

(12:02):
are that come to us.
So attracting money is reallyabout being able to and really
everything about thisconversation about manifestation
is really being able to rest inthe knowing that the universe
has your back.
Your higher power has alwaysbeen there, is inside of you, is

(12:25):
with you and gets where you'vebeen and where you're going and
where you are and is on.
Your team is actively trying towork with you.
But so often we get stuck intrying to control, and
manifesting is not a way ofcontrolling an outcome.
It's actually a way of lettinggo into an outcome.

(12:47):
Sit with that for a moment,because this was hard for me in
the beginning with manifesting,when I was really leaning into
it intentionally.
Manifesting is not a way ofcontrolling your outcome.
It's a way of letting go tojust allow it to come in.

(13:07):
But that only comes when wereally let go and trust that
your higher power is with you,gets you and is in the process
of delivering all the thingsyou're praying for to you.
So how can you attract money?
You can get really clear aboutwhat you need and what you want.
How much you need and wantdoesn't just have to be

(13:29):
need-based love And then put itout there to the universe, your
higher power, god, whatever itis for you right.
And then you've got to let itgo and just say I am no longer
going to focus on how much Ihave, because how much I have
has nothing to do with what iscoming, and I'm going to focus
on getting happy in between.

(13:52):
I'm going to focus on feelingdelicious desire around how I'm
going to spend the money when itcomes Like just really getting
in that juicy place of what itwould feel like to be carefree
if all these problems werealready solved.
Now, that's tricky right, andthere's a lot of tools around

(14:13):
how to stay high-vibes And wetalk about them a lot on the pod
.
But that's how you do it.
You set your desire and thenyou let it go and you trust that
it's coming, and you act as ifemotionally and in your thoughts
Let's talk about what youshould not say while manifesting
.
So I don't know that.

(14:36):
I think that the key to avoidwhile manifesting is focusing on
what you don't have or what youdon't want.
Right, it's to stay in theaffirmative.
So when you're thinking about Ijust had to stand in line for
30 minutes and I did not want todo that and it really screwed
up my whole day, it's to switchit to this I just got to stand

(14:57):
in line for 30 minutes and Idon't know why, but I do
understand that everything'salways working out for me.
I something about this must bereally lining things up for me.
I did not want to get into thatargument with my coworker, but
something about this must reallybe lining things up for me,
because everything is alwaysworking out for me.
I really want to understand howmy ex's behavior is lining

(15:25):
things up for me.
I really want to understand howsome of these challenges are
preparing me for all the thingsI'm manifesting.
I really want to trust thateverything is lining up for me.
I really want, I really want, Ireally want right Switching
that I don't want and I kind oftook it up incrementally there
right, i started from I don'twant something must be happening

(15:47):
here to I'm curious about.
I want right.
I'm incrementally shifting fromfocusing on what you don't want
to what you do want, shiftingto kind of some habitual problem
focus thoughts to really reallysolution focus thoughts.
I really love how Abraham Hickstalks about when you're driving

(16:10):
in the car.
The windshield isn't in thefloor of the car, meaning so
often it's not useful to befocusing on where we are.
Yes, sometimes we have thingsthat come up and we need to let
them process through, but whenwe stay focused on where we are
versus where we're going, right,if the windshield was always in

(16:31):
the floor of the car, we mightcrash a lot.
Well, we would definitely crasha lot right.
So moving our windshield oflife into positive anticipation,
that's how to really be goingin a direction of positive

(16:51):
manifestation.
I've heard the question askedcan you manifest through music?
And it's a really interestingand lovely question.
The thing to know about musicis it has such a powerful way of
hooking us and shifting ourvibration.
Music can help us to feel somany ways And when we use that

(17:16):
to our advantage, oh yes, youcan manifest through music.
So if you are wanting to dosome work around manifestation
and you're wanting to tend yourmental emotional garden and you
put on music that leads you tofeel low, that's not going to

(17:37):
help your manifestation.
But if you put on music thathelps you to feel on fire and
powerful and winning and joyfuland held and safe and trusting
and right like, i can think of alot of really powerful ballads
that help me feel powerful, andthen I can think about a lot of
really powerful spiritual musicthat helps me feel really safe

(18:00):
and cared for.
So when we use music in thisway, absolutely it is going to
help you manifest, because everytime you can shift your
vibration, you can tip it up.
Anytime you can tip it up justa level that is moving in the
direction you want to go.
So, if you can shift from sadto accepting, from accepting to

(18:22):
kind of powerful, right Like,you could definitely do that,
probably in a playlist at thegym one afternoon.
So I want to encourage you that, even when you're not
intentionally manifesting, tonotice how you're using music.
Sometimes music helps usconnect with what we're feeling

(18:42):
and that's valuable, but I don'twant you to stay there, right?
So if you feel like you need agood cry and you put on a couple
of songs that help you get thatout beautiful, then shift it to
the upbeat music, because themore time you spend staying in
the lower vibrational states,the harder it is to turn the
things that you desperately wantinto things.

(19:07):
Finally, what happens when youraise your vibration?
Well, you get happy, right, andthis is the profound difference
that this process has made inmy life this year.
In fact, i was talking tosomeone yesterday who we were
chatting skincare and we werekind of lamenting wrinkles and

(19:28):
she was consideringmicro-needling and I was like,
yeah, i just can't.
I've been willing, historically, to do a lot in the name of
beauty, but that's just notsomewhere I've been willing to
go.
And so I said but I have madesome really great changes that
I've noticed have really helpedmy skin.
This year, for instance, iswitched to a natural skincare

(19:52):
line called Bamboo Earth Love it.
That has been kind of a gamechanger.
But also, i got reallyridiculously happy last year and
you know what?
I haven't gotten Botox since.
Like, literally, my forehead isso much less wrinkled and it's
not perfect, but I know that I'mtraining my muscles to be happy
, which means like, not scowling, and that's a game changer,

(20:17):
right?
Do you know how much money I'vesaved on Botox in the last six
months from raising my vibration?
It's epic And OPS.
That's turning my thoughts intothings right.
So, a, i spent less money, so Ihave more money, and B, my
wrinkles are better.
Like we could do so manypowerful things through raising
our vibration and manifestingour thoughts into happy, happy

(20:38):
things.
And so does that mean that Iintentionally was manifesting
things about my skin?
Yes, i have manifested thingsabout my skin, about my hair,
around my weight, around my bodycomposition, around my
relationships, around my health,around money around.
Yes, yes, love.
The fact that you and I aresitting here together right now

(21:01):
is absolutely a manifestation.
It was a thought I could do apodcast.
That was turned into a thingAnd, through the power of
attraction, we find ourselveshere together today, and so you
must already be working to raiseyour vibration, or you wouldn't
be sitting here in love.
So notice that you're alreadydoing it.

(21:22):
It's just about gettingintentional around it, because
too often we let our mind goabsolutely nuts With all of its
jibber jabber and we just say Idon't know how to make it stop.
But if I told you that all ofyour positive Manifestations are
on the other side of you,learning how to manage your

(21:44):
thoughts, would you feel moremotivated to do so?
Because that was a game changerfor me.
If I told you that all of yourpositive manifestations are on
the other side of you, beingable to rest, the universe has
your back, i get.
You're saying, of course I wantthese things down.
Do you think I don't want thesethings?
I don't know how I Know, butthe answers are everywhere,
right.
We talk about them all the time.
It's just chipping away at it,and that's all I've done over

(22:07):
the years is chipped away andchipped away, and chipped away
and reclaimed Pieces of myselfand reclaim pieces and reclaim
pieces.
I started reading a book thisweek that I cannot believe I
have never read before.
It has been in my orbit for solong.
It's called the untethered soul.
The first couple of chapters Ifreaking love because in those
first couple of chapters itteaches a person how to manage

(22:30):
their thoughts, how to getdistance from that crazy
roommate in your brain.
So there are so many tools.
It's just a manner of Focusingon them and owning the fact that
we talked about this in thevery beginning, that you have
all the power.
You have all the power to dothe things.

(22:51):
And We're not Really trained tobelieve that, right, we are
trained to say the politicianshave the power, the doctors have
the power, the parents have thepower, the people you know.
Other people have power, but Idon't have power.
And So just know that that wasjust a thing.
Right, that was just a thing,that was a trend and it's not a

(23:12):
trend anymore, like now, thetrend is love.
You are ridiculously powerfuland this is Me calling you to
stand in that, to move into that, and it's not gonna come all at
once.
It's a gestation period andthat's kind of annoying, right,
but it's true.
You know, we, it took 40 weeksto have a baby, and it doesn't

(23:36):
have to take 40 weeks to To tohave a manifestation baby,
though There is a lot ofinformation out there that says
that within 30 days, you canraise your vibration so
significantly that you start tomanifest very real thoughts into
things, and I can attest tothat.
I can absolutely test last year,just to give you some.
These are like I would callthem silly examples, right, but

(23:59):
I manifested Redoing mydaughter's playroom, her bedroom
.
The floor is in our bedroom.
We took out old, horrible Petstained carpet and put in
hardwood.
These are silly little things,but it's like.
This was where this was myplayground to start, right,
where these little things.
And and Rather than worry aboutwhere it was gonna come from or

(24:22):
how it was gonna happen orwhether or not there was gonna
be enough right, i just startedfollowing these beautiful little
urges and Relaxing a littlemore into the idea that the
universe had my back a littlemore, a little more, a little
more, and, and then, eventuallythere's so much momentum going
It's gonna sound bananas to you,maybe it's not gonna sound
bananas to you.
I should stop saying that That acouple of weeks ago, i Had a

(24:45):
very real impulse to go buy acar.
So I went and bought a car andI refused to look at the price
because I knew that that wouldaffect my vibration.
So this is where really aboutI'm gonna say less than a year
of manifesting as brought me IGone, i Say My fears, husband

(25:14):
Helping me The Turn You're A manElse мор, i with it and resting
in the idea that the universehas your back.

(25:34):
So you could pick up the bookUntethered Soul to help you take
a step in this direction.
You could, like you asked,listen to some music that helps
you get really, really happy Andwhen all of those negative
thoughts pop in, you could say,ooh, i'm going to choose to
think about something deliciousand happy And to know that I'm
doing it to build myself afreaking beautiful future.
