Chandni and I have, and today in a very intimate episode, we discuss what it’s like to get out of emotionally abusive relationships and come out the other side with a whole heck of a lot of clarity, centeredness, and joy. We both agree that while no one is ever to blame for another person’s harmful behavior, yet it also takes two to engage in any relationship and so we find a lot of healing in self-accountability, discussing what made us choose these relationships, and breaking the cycle of trying to earn love or play the role of “fixer”. Chandni has some immense grace and truly powerful perspectives and it was joy to discuss and share our stories.
