Dear Friends, Family, Revolutionaries, and the Uninitiated,
During our live women's re-empowerment event, we had the pleasure of experiencing many facets of “woman” through the art of dance, painting, music, and poetry. Listen up and get down for the cause, as Asett discusses the topic of womanhood with a diversity panel of firile goddesses. Firility is not recognized as an official word. We are empowered to create our own language to describe women that is equal, if not greater than, man’s “virility.” Firile is born of fire, a powerful force of nature. For all the people who have suppressed our voices, used their physical strength to hold us down, failed to see us for more than our bodies, used our empathy against us, viewed us as the lesser sex, paid us less than we deserved, or put us on a pedestal…This is for you.
This is our moment to crown ourselves goddesses.
We would like to express our deepest thanks to the artists, performers, panelists, and production team that made this all happen, without asking for anything in return.

And a big thank you to Rash, who stayed behind the scenes as an assistant on this one. You are an amazing ally for women and it's nice when you finally shut the hell up.
