Y'all. Some thoughts can sound nice and lovely on paper, but can sometimes actually cause a lot of pain, time wasted, lots of suffering, and loads of mental space spent with no upside, and no payoff whatsoever. This episode is all about questioning every thought (especially the ones that sound nice), because they might just be sneakily working against you. I dive deep into my thought that caused me trouble this Christmas present shopping season, and how "being a good gift giver" sounds good, but it actually made me spiral out into overwhelm, perfectionism, over-researching, and so so so much overthinking. Also, how I solved it.
