In this present time much of the thought process is focused on man, and more often than not towards self specifically. We are always wondering what we can do or how we can do it, what can we get out of someone for doing a task for them.
But this isn't how Jesus modeled Christ-like behavior for us, nor is it something that glorifies God.
In 3 John, the apostle John introduces us to 2 different members of the church: Gaius and Diotrephes. Gaius is what we may call an everyday member of the church, while Diotrephes is an elder at the church.
This episode focused on Gaius by looking at 3 John 1-8, and explores Matthew 7:15-20 in the Bible as well to help link Gaius's actions to being Christ-like.
