If you’ve successfully lost that excess weight that you’ve been working so hard on losing, congratulations! You’ve gone through that arduous process and you have survived to be your healthier self.

But after losing all that weight, now comes what? Maintaining that.

But for people who have been exposed to this experience, we all know losing weight is hard, but keeping it off is another level of struggle!

It is just so hard; there are lots of triggers that can put us off track. That’s why in today’s podcast, we’ll learn how to shift our focus onto the strategies that we can use to manage this change and therefore prevent gaining that excess weight as we live a happy life.

What you’ll learn from this episode:

  • Understanding the physiology is critical to understanding not only why it’s so hard to keep the weight off but also to motivate us to practice behaviors that will help us maintain a healthy weight
  • Discover small and actionable tips that can help you maintain a healthy weight
  • Recognize the importance of having compassion and understanding towards oneself and the process, for maintaining weight is not a destination but a process

“Build that muscle. Build your resilience towards your limitations, towards feeling disappointed, and being able to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and persevere in the effort of healthy weight maintenance.” – Dr. Adrienne Youdim
