"On-farm health screening needs of immigrant dairy workers" is presented by Dr. Anabel Rodriguez, Ph.D., MPH from UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, and Texas Epidemic Public Health Institute. Here, Dr. Rodriguez discusses the results of a pilot study done to determine the health needs of dairy workers and the feasibility of on-farm health risk screenings. Findings suggest there is a need and interest for on-farm health risk screenings and education among immigrant dairy workers. Addressing known barriers to health should be paramount to the organization of on-farm health risk screenings.
