SPEAKER_02 (00:02):
Well, hello, and
welcome back to the Healthy
Living Podcast.
I'm your host, Joe Grumbine, andtoday we have a very special
guest.
Her name is Amy Marone, and Amyis a master hypnotist, a trans
medium, and founder of SensoriumHypnosis.
She helps clients worldwidebridge soul-centered healing
(00:25):
with authentic leadership.
And she's got over 30 years ofrehabilitation and healing and a
decade focused on spiritualhypnosis and coaching.
Amy, I don't need to say morethan that.
Welcome to the show.
It's so great to have you heretoday.
SPEAKER_00 (00:39):
Oh, Joe, thank you
so much.
It's great to be here.
SPEAKER_02 (00:42):
Well, um, you know,
I always like to get started.
Uh, you know, our guests arewide varied from, you know,
patients to doctors and andeverything in between.
And uh our listeners generally, you know, pop in, they're like,
oh, who is this?
And so, you know, I like tostart off a conversation with
(01:05):
who's Amy and what brought youhere?
SPEAKER_00 (01:08):
Yeah, Joe, thank you
so much.
Um, well, I want to go backwardin time, sure.
Uh to a time in my life before Ifound the path that I'm
currently on.
SPEAKER_01 (01:24):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (01:24):
And so, like so
many, um, I just say generically
light workers, uh, people whohave a more spiritual
perspective on their role.
And um, you know, even before Istepped into this role, I knew I
was here on the earth plane as ahelper healer.
(01:47):
Um I love it.
SPEAKER_02 (01:48):
I want to stop just
for one second because I've
noticed, you know, this podcastis focused on healthy living.
And I've always said mind, body, spirit, but I realized in the
past month or so, uh, many ofour guests have been more
focused on the spiritual side ofthings.
I find that interesting andinsightful because I think that
(02:12):
you know the the body sort ofmirrors what the spirit's doing.
Um and you know, the body islike a reflection of what's
happening in the real world, which is the energy.
Anyways, I just threw that outthere.
Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00 (02:24):
Yeah, no, it's it's
an amazing observation.
Um, you know, I had been workinguh more in the corporate arena
in the field of rehabilitation.
My last uh position was helpingworking on a multidisciplinary
team to get a pain managementprogram open.
(02:48):
Um, and my focus was workingwith injured workers and helping
them get back into the workplaceuh post-injury.
So um, but during this time,Joe, I began to develop this
mysterious illness um where I,you know, chronic fatigue,
(03:10):
chronic pain, flu-like symptoms,on and on digestive issues.
I mean, it was just somethingthat was rippling through my
immune system.
Took um, this was a five-yearjourney of trying to find a
doctor, the right doctor, adiagnosis, all of the things.
(03:33):
And as time went on, my symptomsworsened and it became clearer
and clearer to me that I wouldsoon need to step away from the
corporate world because my bodyjust couldn't sustain the
schedule, the travel, theresponsibilities.
And um, you know, to add insultto injury, I was going through a
(03:58):
divorce.
SPEAKER_02 (03:59):
Oh no.
SPEAKER_00 (04:00):
Um, I was going to
be the sole provider for my son,
who was under 10 years old atthat time.
And my mother, who had lost herhusband, moved out here to the
Seattle area um to spend herretirement years with me, just
had purchased a new house, andmy entire immune system was
(04:23):
falling apart.
Um, yeah, and so you know, andagain, it was a slow progression
of getting sicker and sickerover a five-year time period, so
it didn't show up out of theblue.
SPEAKER_02 (04:37):
Um, and it didn't
show up on any kind of test or
anything or Lyme disease.
SPEAKER_00 (04:41):
I well, it was very
interesting because I know now
in retrospect, doctors were werelooking in the wrong places, so
to speak, weren't running theright tests, and so this what
turned out to be an autoimmunedisease wasn't even on their
radar because it was a lesscommon autoimmune disease.
(05:02):
And and of course, a lot we youknow the the medical field has
made a lot of advancements inunderstanding this condition,
but you know, go back 14 yearsago, it wasn't even on their
radar.
So I ended up finding a doctorum back then uh in Michigan of
(05:23):
all places who was able to put aname on this condition.
It's called myalgicencephalomyelitis.
SPEAKER_01 (05:30):
Oh wow, yeah, it has
a model.
SPEAKER_00 (05:33):
Emmy for short, I I
get a little annoyed when um the
medical profession puts thechronic fatigue label on it.
SPEAKER_02 (05:43):
Right.
Um, I think they used to callit.
SPEAKER_00 (05:46):
Yeah, completely.
I mean, it doesn't reallyexplain um what what's happening
to the body, right?
It almost puts it in a site, andit has in the past put it in
this psych category, right?
Which is annoying because now weknow that you know the cells in
the body aren't functioningappropriately, right?
And it's really most accuratelya neuromuscular disease, it
(06:10):
affects you know, inflammationof the brain and the spinal
cord, it affects the muscles ofthe body, or like lupus, yeah,
absolutely, and it it affectseven um, you know, a lot of us
have what's called dysautonomiaand it dysregulates the entire
autonomic system.
SPEAKER_01 (06:29):
Wow.
SPEAKER_00 (06:30):
So this beautiful
soul in Michigan, who has since
passed, actually had thecondition himself.
SPEAKER_01 (06:36):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (06:37):
Harvard uh educated
doctor made tremendous
advancements in the umdiagnostic, uh diagnosing this
condition and was using umantivirals actually, um, in
large, you know, a large dosageto be able to treat this.
(06:57):
Um, 10 months flying back andforth.
SPEAKER_02 (07:00):
That's a lot of
travel.
SPEAKER_00 (07:02):
Yeah, a lot of
travel.
Um, tried this protocol on me,it didn't work.
Um, I missed the optimal windowof time where this treatment
could have possibly um, youknow, um either lowered the
volume or reversed the impact ofthis condition.
(07:23):
10 months in, you know, thankyou so much for helping me.
This isn't working.
I literally come home, I I haveto let go of my job, throw my
hands in the air, and I said,God, either take me or heal me,
but do not be this way, right?
And Joe, I'm laughing.
I mean, now my heart is smiling.
(07:44):
Careful what you wish for.
SPEAKER_02 (07:46):
I get it.
SPEAKER_00 (07:47):
Right.
And so I have a near-deathexperience, uh-huh.
And uh, and I'm leaving so muchout in terms of the ER, um, you
know, uh three, four days in thecardiac unit under observation
because my heart is beating toofast or too slow.
(08:07):
I'm having these really weird umdrops in blood pressure, what's
called near syncope, thesemoments where I'm um my body
feels like I'm gonna pass outtunnel vision, the whole thing.
Wow, my body is an absolutedisaster, and I have this
(08:28):
near-death experience, not inthe hospital, not during
surgery, as you often hear ofmost commonly in near-death
experiences.
I'm at home, um, in bed bymyself, my soul leaves my body,
wow, and I have um what I'llexplain I I can best describe as
(08:52):
a clair audience andclairsentient experience where a
voice or a thought enters myawareness, right?
That said to me, Amy, are youready to leave the earth plane?
SPEAKER_01 (09:07):
Whoa, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (09:09):
Are you ready to
leave the earth plane?
SPEAKER_02 (09:12):
So clare audiencely,
um now prior to this, was this
something that you would havethought was a thing?
Like, you know, where where wasyour mind before that?
Were you yeah, okay, good.
SPEAKER_00 (09:26):
Absolutely.
So, Joe, since since mychildhood, I have felt a very,
very strong connection to theetheric realm.
Um, I grew up Catholic, althoughinterestingly, I didn't espouse
many of the you know classclassic, you know, philosophies
(09:48):
behind religion.
SPEAKER_02 (09:50):
I was there too.
Yeah, absolutely.
I don't know about that part.
That doesn't seem you know,yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (09:56):
And it's funny
because uh, you know, even as a
small child, my my teacherswould send my religion papers
home for my parents to signbecause they were so off the
wall.
And and I had there was this,um, you know, my my parents and
my teachers called it religionaccording to Amy, um, because it
(10:18):
it certainly didn't fit withinthe framework of um Catholicism
or Yeah, dogma just didn't seemto make a lot of sense to me.
SPEAKER_02 (10:27):
I'm like, why?
Because you said so?
SPEAKER_00 (10:29):
Like exactly.
SPEAKER_02 (10:31):
But where is this
coming from, you know?
Saying do this and believe this.
And I'm like, eh, I'd rather seeit and feel it first, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (10:40):
Oh, that's that's
exactly right.
And at the same, I mean, I wasvery lucky because neither one
of my parents, um, even thoughthey were both raised Catholic,
they were very progressivethinkers, okay, and they were
educators, and so you know, itwas a wonderful um, you know,
place to be, um, to be able toask some of the deeper questions
(11:05):
at the dinner table.
SPEAKER_01 (11:06):
Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_00 (11:08):
My parents always
challenge convention.
Oh, okay.
So I'm I'm really grateful forthat.
And so, but also as a child, um,I didn't realize it at the time,
but I was channeling music inthe entire realm.
So at eight and nine and tenyears old, with very little
formal training, I would sit atthe piano and these, you know,
(11:31):
now I know these, you know, songs and melodies were just
coming through me.
SPEAKER_01 (11:38):
Wow.
SPEAKER_00 (11:38):
And at a very young
age, I was creating this, I
wouldn't say terriblysophisticated music, but it
music doesn't have to becomplicated to be beautiful.
Well, there you go.
And and I and I worked with anumber of musicians that that
could help me uh um you knowturn this music into um you know
(12:02):
uh harmonies and instruments andfell into the right hands and I
had the right mentors to help mecreate um you know more
sophisticated music.
SPEAKER_01 (12:15):
Nice.
SPEAKER_00 (12:16):
Um, so and and I and
I felt again um the real
presence of spirit in my life, and I, while everybody else was
doing math in the classroom, I'mwriting music, I'm writing
poems, I'm having this two-wayconversation with the spirit
world that made me look terriblyADHD um and incredibly unfocused
(12:40):
and undisciplined.
Um, but it ended up really myearly beginnings of this
incredible two-way communicationwith the spirit world.
SPEAKER_02 (12:51):
So I knew there was
who did you yeah, who were you
talking to, I guess.
It's like, you know, there's somany, like there's people that
are like either it's Jesus orit's evil spirits, and then
there's other people that say,Well, there's sure a lot more
than that going on out there, and there's this wide range of
ancestors to angels, and and andwhat's your thoughts on all
(13:14):
that?
SPEAKER_00 (13:14):
Um well, Joe, I say
the all of the above.
Um, you know, in my earlybeginnings, it was Jesus, right?
Because that was my frame ofreference, right?
Um, but now, you know, 10 yearsof spiritual hypnotherapy, even
my my clients have expanded mymind.
SPEAKER_02 (13:33):
Yeah, but of course.
SPEAKER_00 (13:34):
I've reached a place
in my uh spiritual maturation or
journey where I've come tobelieve that multiple things can
exist simultaneously.
SPEAKER_02 (13:45):
Everything's
possible, everything's possible,
yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (13:48):
Absolutely.
So, you know, I have this neardeath experience, my soul leaves
my body, clair.
I hear this voice.
The voice asks me, Are you readyto leave the earth plane?
Yeah, and the clairsentient partcame next in my experience, Joe.
And what I mean by that is um inthis altered state, as I cross
(14:13):
this threshold into this the thespiritual world, I'm downloaded
the cumulative impact that my umdeath, my future death would
have on my son.
SPEAKER_02 (14:27):
Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00 (14:28):
And so I could oh it
it is, it was profound, Joe,
because in that moment, right?
It was very futuristic.
Yeah, I could imagine how thatwould impact my son.
I could feel the grief and thesadness, I could feel the um
this, the the you know, thisfeeling of being lost and
(14:53):
abandoned and left unguided andunsupported, um all of that.
And and in that moment, I wasable to make the most informed
and enlightened choice that Icould make at that time.
And Joe, I also realized in thatmoment that I had a soul
(15:14):
contract with my son.
SPEAKER_02 (15:16):
Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00 (15:17):
And and that had to
do with being by his side and
championing a champion of his ora guardian of his best interest
here.
Um and so I I made that choice, that very informed and
(15:38):
enlightened choice.
You know, as much as I'mphysically suffering, I I need
to come back.
SPEAKER_02 (15:45):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (15:46):
And yeah, and and in
that moment, the vo I'm just
gonna call it the voice, eventhough it's you know, it's more
of a a thought or um a mentalawareness that's walking me
through this decision.
(16:06):
Uh I was told, well, if you goback in, you will live more
intentionally.
SPEAKER_02 (16:11):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (16:12):
I have no idea, Joe,
what that meant.
No idea.
So back I, you know, the soulsabsorb back into the body.
And almost like um, I mean, itwas like science uh science
fiction movie.
Yeah, I wasn't so much seeing asI was hearing and feeling, okay,
(16:34):
um, come back into the body, andmy life moving forward was never
the same.
I then realized in terms ofthese clears and the gifts of
the spirit, even though Ibelieve we all have them, and
even though, as we discussed afew minutes ago, you know, I I
(16:59):
absolutely felt this strongconnection.
It was like now all of theclears were on, it was like me
on steroids, spiritually, umwithin 4.0 completely within um
days of that experience, JoeJoe.
(17:19):
I was walking down my hallwayand uh the voice said you're
going back to school, which wascrazy because I want to make it
clear to our audience this wasnot a spontaneous physical
healing, right?
Right.
I I still have this condition,it's by been diagnosed, there's
(17:42):
no treatment, I don't know whatthe prognosis is.
SPEAKER_01 (17:46):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (17:47):
Um, and then a
couple days later, I the voice
says you're going back fortraining to be a hypnotist.
SPEAKER_01 (17:57):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (17:58):
Now that was crazy,
Joe.
I had never known a hypnotist.
SPEAKER_02 (18:02):
Yeah, yeah.
And it's not like one of yourgoals from a childhood or
something like that.
SPEAKER_00 (18:06):
Completely.
And I had never even Googledlike what is the training of uh,
I mean, I just said no idea.
So now, but but the strange andbeautiful thing is, Joe, I never
even questioned uh theauthenticity of this connection
and this higher intelligencethat I now knew and trusted was
(18:29):
gonna guide me out of this umhorrible illness, this um, you
know, financial ruin that wascreated by you know having to
leave conventional, you know, employment and um you know let
(18:51):
go of this 30-year climb in myprior career, and and now, you
know, all over again my mortgageand how am I gonna navigate a
divorce and take care of thischild?
And um I went through thetraining and fast forward to
(19:14):
now, Joe, it has been the mostmagnificent journey from classic
hypnosis to spiritual hypnosisand a weaving in of all these
other modalities, um,metaphysical healing, mediumship
healing, uh, trance healing.
(19:36):
Um and and I've I've had theglorious experience of the
spirit world shaping everysingle tool and making it very a
very unique imprint um of mylife journey.
Um and you know, just a very, very unique.
(19:59):
I call it a self-healingmodality.
SPEAKER_02 (20:02):
Nice, right?
SPEAKER_00 (20:03):
Because it's less
about what I'm doing to or for
my clients, it's more about whatI'm empowering my clients to do
for themselves.
SPEAKER_02 (20:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, and ultimately it comesdown to that, you know, it's
like uh uh people think youknow, you're gonna go and get a
guru or a healer or somethinglike that, and they're gonna do
something to you or for you.
But the truth is, all they caneven hope to do is get you to
see what's inside of you andactivate it or help you to
(20:33):
activate it yourself.
SPEAKER_00 (20:35):
Absolutely, Joe.
That is that is so spot on, andand so you know, in the
beginning of my journey as ahypnotist, I realized boy,
classic or mainstream hypnosisisn't for me.
Okay.
Um, because you know, it's veryscript-based, it's very one size
(20:55):
fits all.
Um, in the beginning, right, when you're just getting your um
feet wet as a hypnotist, it'sactually in a lot of ways, very
kind of Western medicine modelin the set in the sense of, you
know, you come to me with aproblem and here's a solution.
It's very descriptive, right?
(21:16):
Yeah, and so within like sixmonths to a year, I mean, in in
a way, it's kind of important asa new hypnist to try that on,
um, at least, and and again toto practice um, you know,
helping your clients get intotheta.
But I have to say, um, you know, that it is the connection, I
(21:40):
think, you know, uh as aspiritual hypnotist now to the
etheric realm that can reallyadvance the progression of your
work because it's helping youtap into high frequency
energies.
And once you the key for me uhin terms of like the the
framework and the um the shiftin philosophy is that I came to
(22:06):
understand through my ownhealing journey that the answers
truly lie within each and everyone of us.
So I began to understand myselfas more of a coach or a guide in
helping other people tap in totheir inner wisdom, right?
To connect with the higher mind.
And if they are of a spiritualmindset to even tap into the
(22:29):
etheric realm, um, I kept uh Itruly believe, you know, that
the most effective healer of allis is you, the client, right,
and and not me.
SPEAKER_01 (22:47):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (22:47):
Um and I also
believe that through these tools
that spirit has helped meintegrate into my practice that
my job is now to help my clientsignite their inner healer.
SPEAKER_02 (23:03):
Nice, right?
So when when a client comes toyou, like you've got all these
tools in your box.
Yeah, so kind of walk methrough, like say I'm I'm I'm
your new client.
Yeah, I say, hey, I've got thisissue or I've got this health
problem or whatever it is.
Can you help me?
How do we go from here?
SPEAKER_00 (23:21):
Yeah, well, so um
people typically find me through
podcasts.
Okay, they typically find methrough articles.
I I blog, I'm I'm a passionateblogger on all kinds of wild
spiritual topics.
Um, and and I wrote a book.
Um, this is uh uh this isWhispers Beyond the Veil channel
(23:46):
teachings inspired by the spiritworld.
So that's typically not always,or people do a Google search um
and they they typically type inlike mind, body, soul healing or
metaphysical healing or ummediumship healing.
It's usually a spiritual termthat that you know connects
(24:07):
people to me.
Then they they will find me onmy website and they'll see uh um
free spiritual healingconsultation.
SPEAKER_01 (24:17):
All right.
SPEAKER_00 (24:18):
First point of
entry.
And here's why, Joe.
Um, I think it's really, reallyimportant for people to get um
uh some time with me to tell memore about um, you know, what
are their goals?
What are they working on intheir life?
SPEAKER_02 (24:37):
What have they done?
SPEAKER_00 (24:38):
Yeah, absolutely.
Where are they now?
And and paint me a picture, giveme a vision of of where they
want to be.
Um, I have a lot of um, there'sa lot of questions, um boxes
they they check um before, youknow, in the process of um
scheduling that consultationthat give me such a good idea of
(25:01):
who they are spiritually as asoul and and what their core
values are, and then um throughthis consultation, uh spirit
guides me in asking some verypoignant questions that help me
know them better, and then itgives it it creates an
opportunity for them to ask mequestions, got it, and then
(25:25):
through that process, Joe, Icustom design uh or or make some
recommendations about like whatthis could look like because
every soul is is different, ithas different different right
and and they can book sessionsum from there if it feels like a
(25:46):
both a good fit both ways, right?
Because I want to make sure umit's in the wheelhouse of what I
do, or in some cases, do I haveanother colleague in my inner
circle that might be a betterpoint of entry, right?
Right, right.
This is a humble path, yeah, right.
And I and I don't proclaim to belike the best practitioner
(26:07):
forever, right?
SPEAKER_02 (26:08):
Right, you're just
out there trying to help people,
yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00 (26:11):
And then um uh, you
know, I and I also want to make
sure that that it, you know,we're aligned in our in our
goals and my recommendations fitwithin the framework of, I mean,
the client is the expert intheir own journey, so again,
it's gotta be very humble and Ihave to, and it has to come from
(26:33):
a place of spiritual integrity, and so once we map out what that
looks like, they can do theirsessions virtually, or if
they're local to me, they're youknow, they can pop in and and do
these in in person, nice, nice.
Um, and it's all customized, soit isn't some people are very,
(26:53):
very sophisticated and they'vedone a lot of work and they're
like, I want to come and I I Iwant you already know what
they're looking for, yeah.
Yeah, I want to open my clears,I want to have more fluid
communication with spirit.
Other people are like, you know, they come for grief and loss.
I just lost my wife, yeah.
And um, you know, I want to do,you know, can can can you help
(27:16):
connect me with her?
Um, can we do some grief andloss therapy?
I'm a metaphysical minister too,so you know, I can do the
personal counseling end ofthings, and we can also weave in
spiritual hypnosis andmediumship, all the things.
SPEAKER_02 (27:33):
Nice, okay, nice.
Well, as I suspected, we'regonna get into a conversation
and run out of time before weeven scratch the surface.
But this is a point where I liketo see if I can get you to kind
of wrap your thoughts up intoone sort of a parting thought
that we can leave our listenerswith.
And then I most uh sincerelywant to invite you back because
(27:56):
I feel like we just have barelytouched the surface of this
conversation and there's so muchmore to talk about.
But uh yeah, why don't you seewhat we can do to wrap up your
thoughts into uh one or youknow, a central idea to leave
our guests with and then uh andthen once again show everybody
how we can reach you.
SPEAKER_00 (28:16):
Yeah, absolutely.
Well, Joe, I I just want to say,um, you know, I I absolutely
love what I do, and for a lot ofpeople, um part of their
spiritual evolution is findingtheir what I call career
calling.
(28:37):
Um, and and and if I could relayone message to um other
incredible light workers who areworking across every industry
under the sun, right?
Lightworker um and helper healerisn't a title, it's a frequency.
Yeah, be an engineer, right, andbe a light worker, you can be an
(29:00):
IT professional or um own astring of coffee stands and be a
light worker, right?
So I want to make that clear.
Um, if you are um wanting towork independently on your
spiritual journey, this bookthat I recently wrote, uh
Whispers Beyond the Veil,Channel Teachings Inspired by
(29:22):
the Spirit World, you can findit on Amazon.
I'm not pumping this, this isn'tcoming from ego.
Um, this is a spiritualcurriculum.
Every chapter has journalprompts.
The purpose of this book is tohelp light workers connect with
the most authentic version ofthemselves, um, and also if
(29:44):
they're interested, connect withthe spirit world.
Each and every one of us is amedium, by the way.
SPEAKER_01 (29:50):
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (29:51):
Um, this is our
birthright.
And so if you're a quiet souland you want to do self study,
that's the book.

spiritual path I'm here umthere's tons of light workers
