Lisa Vonnegut’s career began as a Recreation Therapist in acute psychiatric and rehab units, where she developed a deep understanding of how mental health and movement intersect. In 2000, she transitioned into coaching and personal training, bringing that same supportive, motivating approach to help clients push their limits in safe, empowering ways.
A student and instructor of applied neurology, Lisa runs Body Synergy, blending brain-based strategies with strength and conditioning to help people move, perform, and feel their best.
In 2007, a solo trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast sparked a new passion. What started as personal exploration evolved into Body Synergy FitCation—active escapes that merge her love of travel, health, and fitness. Today, she splits her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Germany, guiding groups through stunning landscapes, great food, local wine, and guilt-free joy.
