Episode 40 - Journey Into Scripture - Part 3

In this episode, we begin our series on learning how to take a journey into scripture. In the next 8 episodes, we will be exploring the bible together. There are three main types of literary genres that are in the Bible: narrative, poetry, and prose discourse. We will go on three 'short' trips by using Jonah to explore narrative, looking at some psalms to explore poetry, and a letter of Paul to explore prose discourse. Mastering these three types of literary styles will enable you to go on your own journeys into scripture, and to take others along for the trip. We will use these episodes to close out our first year of podcasting. It has been a lot of fun getting to do this together, and we are looking forward to the plans that we have for year number two!
