What if the signs you've been desperately seeking are already here—just not in the form you expected?

We scan the horizon for burning bushes and divine interventions while our bodies whisper truths we're afraid to hear. We beg for green lights when the closed doors are actually protecting what's next. We mistake our exhaustion for failure when it's our nervous system saying "this path isn't yours anymore."

The signs aren't missing. We're just looking in the wrong places.

That restlessness? Your soul saying something bigger is waiting. That relationship ending? Space being cleared for love that actually sees you. That job that no longer fits? Evidence you've outgrown its container, not that you've failed.

Alignment doesn't always feel like bliss. Sometimes it feels like grief—mourning versions of yourself that got you this far but can't take you where you're going. Sometimes it's choosing stillness when every part of you wants to fix, chase, control.

Here's what I'm learning: When you stop dimming your knowing to make others comfortable, you don't just change your life—you ripple out something that shifts everything. Your healing becomes permission for others to heal. Your courage becomes an invitation for others to be brave.

You're not behind. You're not broken. You're becoming.

The universe isn't withholding guidance—it's positioning you. But divine timing rarely feels divine when you're in it. It feels like chaos until you realize you're exactly where you need to be.

Ready to stop chasing signs and start recognizing the ones already speaking through your body?

Subscribe to Lift One Self for weekly reminders that the magic isn't coming—it's here. And you're not seeking the sign, you ARE the sign someone else is praying for.

NatNat be (00:00):
Serendipity, that alignment we at times don't
recognize or are afraid toacknowledge, because it feels
unsafe to accept something sosimple of doors opening, not
because you forced them, butbecause your frequency finally
matched what you've been callingin.
And that got me thinking.

(00:20):
How often do we ask for signsand then miss them?
How often do we pray formiracles while standing in the
middle of one?
How often do we beg theuniverse for clarity while our
bodies are already speaking thetruth?
We're afraid to hear?
Hey, love, welcome back to theLift One Self podcast.

(00:42):
I'm your host, nat.
Nat, if this is your first timehere, welcome home.
And if you've been walking thisjourney with me, thank you for
coming back, thank you fortrusting this space with your
tender, seeking heart, and themost valuable thing you have is
your time and attention.
If this episode lands for you, share it with someone who needs

(01:02):
a reminder that they're not offtrack, they're just in process.
Share it with somebody who'sbeen questioning if they're
doing this whole life thingright.
Spoiler alert there is no rightway, only your way.
Before we go deeper, let's pauseand take a mindful moment
together.
If you're seated or still, place a hand on your belly or

(01:24):
your heart, feel the warmth ofyour own touch.
And if you're moving, just slowyour next breath Now with me.
Inhale gently through your nose, let it rise into your ribs,
your back, your belly.
Feel your body expand with yourlife force.
Hold for just a moment now.

(01:47):
Exhale slowly out of your mouthlike a quiet sigh, like you're
releasing what you no longerneed to carry.
Let's do one more.
Inhale deeply, feel the breath, open space inside you, creating
room for what wants to emerge, and exhale.

(02:07):
Feel yourself arriving here inthis moment, with nothing to
prove, nothing to fix, nothingto chase.
Let your body know it's safe toreceive truth today.
Let your nervous system knowit's safe to stop performing and

(02:29):
start feeling Again.
Take another deep breath foryourself, hold and gently
release.
So here's something I want toask you, gently yet honestly how
often are you asking for a signand feeling like it's not

(02:50):
appearing?
How often are you scanning thehorizon for validation while
ignoring the whispers in yourown chest?
And could it be that the signis here?
It's just not the answer youwere hoping for.
Not the yes you wanted, not thegreen light you were craving,
not the sweet validation thatwould make everything feel

(03:14):
easier.
Maybe the silence is the sign.
Maybe the door that keepsclosing is the sign.
Maybe your exhaustion is yournervous system whispering this
path isn't for you anymore.
Maybe your restlessness is yoursoul saying there's something
bigger waiting.

(03:34):
Sometimes the signs don't lookor feel like alignment.
It feels like disruption, likespace being cleared, like a
relationship ending, not topunish you but to make room for
love that actually sees you likea job that no longer fits, not

(03:55):
because you failed, yet becauseyou've grown beyond its
container.
You're not off track love.
You're in transition, andtransition is messy and
uncomfortable and asks you totrust what you cannot yet see.
Spirit didn't forget you.
Spirit is positioning you, buthere's what they don't tell you

(04:17):
about divine timing.
It rarely feels divine whenyou're in it.
It feels like chaos.
It feels like everything isfalling apart.
It feels like you took a wrongturn somewhere and now you're
lost in a force you don'trecognize.
Yet what if you're not lost?
What if you're exactly whereyou need to be, even if it

(04:41):
doesn't match the vision boardon your wall?
Alignment doesn't always feellike bliss.
Sometimes it feels like grief, like mourning the version of
yourself that got you this farbut can't take you where you're
going.
Sometimes it feels likeshedding identities that used to
keep you safe but now feel likecostumes that no longer fit.

(05:03):
Sometimes alignment feels likechoosing stillness when every
part of you wants to fix orchase or control.
It feels like sitting withuncertainty when your mind is
screaming for answers Gosh, do Iknow that one so much?
It feels like trusting yourinner knowing when the whole

(05:24):
world is telling you you'rewrong.
I pulled a card before thisepisode and it said you are a
channel for providence.
Your fortune becomes everyone'sfortune.
That line landed hard because Irealized how often I've dimmed
my knowing to make otherscomfortable, how often I've

(05:46):
shrunk my gifts to fit the room.
How often I've apologized fortaking up space with my truth.
Here's what I'm learning whenyou stop dimming your knowing,
when you stop shrinking yourgift, you don't just change your
life.
You ripple out something thatshifts the collective.
Your healing becomes permissionfor others to heal.

(06:11):
Your courage becomes aninvitation for others to be
brave.
Your authenticity becomes amirror that shows others what's
possible, and that's why thismoment matters.
That's why the discomfort issacred.
It's not happening to you, it'shappening for you and, through

(06:32):
you, for all of us.
So what does this look like inreal life?
It looks like trusting the softno that comes from your body
before your mind can rationalizeit away.
It looks like saying yes toopportunities that scare you and
excite you in equal measures.
It looks like havingconversations you've been

(06:53):
avoiding because they mightchange everything.
It looks like accepting thatyou might disappoint people when
you start living authentically.
It looks like understandingthat not everyone will celebrate
your growth and that's not yourresponsibility.
It looks like recognizing thatthe signs you've been asking for

(07:15):
might not come as burningbushes or divine intervention.
They might come as a feeling inyour gut, a dream that won't
leave you alone, a stranger whosays exactly what you needed to
hear, a pattern that keepsshowing up.
The universe is conspiring foryou, not against you, but

(07:40):
conspiracy requires co-creation.
It requires you to feel themagic halfway, to take the
inspired action even when youcan't see the whole staircase,
to trust that the breadcrumbsyou've been given are enough to
take the next step, to trustthat the breadcrumbs you've been
given are enough to take thenext step.
You are not behind, you are notbroken, you are not too much or

(08:04):
not enough.
You are becoming, and becomingis a process, not a destination.
It's messy and beautiful andrequires you to be patient with
yourself as you shed what nolonger serves and step into
what's waiting.
And trust me, I really hatethis process.

(08:26):
I've had to learn the muscle ofpatience.
So here's your invitation thisweek Stop asking for a softer
sign.
Start listening to the one thatalready arrived.
Maybe it's in the way your bodycontracts when you think about
the situation you keep trying tofix.
Maybe it's in the way yourheart expands when you imagine a

(08:49):
different path.
Speak the thing you've beendiluting.
Let it be loud, let it beinconvenient, let it be true.
Choose your inner knowing overexternal comfort.
Choose your growth over others'approval.
Choose your becoming overstaying small.

(09:13):
The timing is not perfect.
You are.
You are the sign someone elseis praying for.
Perfect.
You are.
You are the sign someone elseis praying for.
You are the miracle someoneelse is waiting to witness.
You are the permission slip.
Someone else needs to trusttheir own path.
If this episode met you in amoment you needed, share it with

(09:34):
someone who's been questioningtheir path.
Let them know they're notbehind.
They're just becoming.
Send it to a friend who's beenquestioning their path.
Let them know they're notbehind, they're just becoming.
Send it to a friend who's beenasking for signs.
Remind them, they might bestanding in the middle of their
answer.
You're not here to chase signs, love.
You're here to become one.
And, as always, please rememberto be kind to yourself in the

(09:57):
becoming, in the questioning, inthe trusting you matter.
Your path matters, your timingmatters.
Until next time, keep trustingwhat you know to be true, even
when, especially when the worldcan't see it yet.
