Hi! I’m Olivia Bria, but my friends call me Liv— and you can too! This week on the podcast I interviewed Tanya Holland. We met in San Antonio, Texas back in October and if you don’t have it yet, you'll have to snag a copy of her latest cookbook named, California Soul. Tanya Holland has appeared on Top Chef, Food Network’s the Melting Pot, Selena + Chef, and was the host of Tanya’s Kitchen Table. She was also the owner of the esteemed restaurant Brown Sugar Kitchen in Oakland, California, where the City of Oakland declared June 5, 2012 as Tanya Holland Day for her culinary work in the community. We talked diversity in food television, dove deep into traveling, and about her work in soul food.
