Barbara Doeleman-van Veldhoven is the founder of BFC Compassionate Care & Mindful Medicine and co-author of several books. Her education, professional experience and contemplative practice underpin her integration of mindfulness, compassion, research evidence and wisdom into supporting healthcare leaders. She coaches executives and guides leadership retreats. She does this with humor, compassion and clarity. Her work includes international collaborations, integrating compassion into teamwork and leadership to foster compassionate cultures in healthcare.
