Episode 27: Bevin Luna

Bevin Luna's website describes her as "Based out of Fort Collins, CO with roots in Memphis, TN and Dominican Republic. Bevin Luna’s guitar- and gut-driven songs package sly intelligence inside a rough-and-rugged sound." And we have to agree with that. A few weeks before heading out on our mid-October tour, we checked out her music due to sharing a bill with her (and others) at the Choice City Stomp Fall Fling. Upon the first listen of her latest EP, Madison and Angelus, we were in love with her tunes. It touches on garage rock, melodic rock, punk rock...anything that has ROCK in it, that's the best way to describe Bevin's songwriting and sound. We caught up with Bevin in her home studio to discuss music, growing up in a musical family, recording, the Fort Collins music scene and more. We discussed touring and how she needs to get on the road so maybe we could see her down here! Bevin was very hospitable, so much so she kept asking us questions during our visit.
