When we choose not to be faithful, engage in gossip and slander, and distance ourselves from God, we are essentially exiling ourselves. Scripture is packed with the idea that we are exiles, living in a Kingdom not meant for us. Instead, there is a heavenly kingdom where our citizenship is sealed, and where we will ultimately be with Jesus. So, what should we do during this in-between time? What does it mean to be an exile?
