So number one thing that youneed to know is that keywords

that is the bread and butter ofwhat I do, Organic Marketing. So
of course, I rely on SEOoptimization. So you can go back
and listen to a ton of podcastepisodes that I have created on
to have an amazing podcast thatis growing day after day. And
this very same subject so thatyou can immerse yourself in the
world of podcasts SEO, and getthe organic growth that you're

looking for when it comes topodcasting.
Number two tip is that you needto optimize your podcast site.
It's not of course, we worryabout optimizing every little
piece of our podcasts. But ifyou're not really worried about
anything else, like just reallyfocus on your titles, because
again, the thing aboutpodcasting is that you can rank

for your podcast episode, evenif you don't have a huge
honestly, while SEO may seemlike it's confusing, it's
listener base, even if you are anewer podcast. And I say this, I
shared this quite often. But topaint a very realistic picture
for you, I launched my podcastto literally an audience of no
one back in May of 2020. And by2023, I had a top half percent

ranking podcast. And this allhappened because I was SEO,
optimizing my podcast.
And really, by focusing on thosetitles, you can have the
complicated, it's my gosh, whatis this? Yes, I'm not gonna lie,
visibility. Why? Because if youthink that the podcast app,
which by the way is a searchengine, and you need to treat it
as such, right. So with that inmind, you need to think about

the person who's going to thepodcast app and on the search
bar, they're typing the thingthat they're looking for. And if
you use that keyword or that keyphrase in your title, your
podcast is going to come up highin search. So you need to be
able to leverage SEO in orderfor you to come up high in
search. Because again, itdoesn't matter if you have a
huge listener base or not forgetting a whole lot of downloads

or not. Because the way that thepodcast app is showing search is
SEO can be complicated. But whenit comes to the podcast world,
based off of SEO. So even thoughyou might not be a huge
household name, you can stillrank high because of how you're
using your keywords. And again,hello, I am the case study right
here.
By the way, this isn't just truejust for me, this happens with
my clients as well. So I haveclients who are household names,

and I have clients who are nothousehold names and we apply
this strategy and it works forthem. So of course they use me
as an example quite a bit.Because of course, at the end of
the day, I own a PodcastMarketing Production Agency, and
my podcast is the guinea pig forthe agency. I try a lot of
it's one of the simplest waysthat you can actually optimize
things for the agency through myown podcast and this is what I

can tell you. Focus on thosepodcast episodes titles because
those titles are going to be keyin you having a lot of
visibility.
Tip number three is for you tohave engaging SEO optimized show
notes. Now, show notes tend tobe second thought people already
pay attention to them, and itremains super honest between you
and I, Apple does not look atthe show notes, at least not as

of this moment to help you rankfor a keyword. So for example,
let's say there was a key wordthat you used in your show notes
but the keyword is not in yourtitle. When you do a search for
for. So out of all the differentthings that SEO is good for, for
that specific keyword, yourpodcast episode is not going to
come up just because it's in theshow notes, right. So that's how
Apple works. And I always focuson Apple because Apple is

biggest player after all. Butjust because we focus on Apple
does mute and focus on everybodyelse. And for other search
engines out there.
The show notes are importantbecause you have your main
keywords they're going after,but then you have a bunch of
supporting keywords, supportingyour B keywords. Just like movie
you have like your main actor,and then you have the supporting

roles. And they all cometogether to make an amazing
movie. And it's the same waywith your podcast episode. So
example, your website, yourblog, YouTube, or things like
make sure that you don'tdisregard your show notes, make
sure that you have amazing shownotes. And they are engaging
their funding hook people in.But they're also SEO optimized.
And by the way, one day, it'llhappen where Apple is going to

start ranking your podcast basedon the keywords in your show
notes, just mark my words, andyou want to be ready for that.
So make sure that from startingfrom today, you are optimizing
your show notes, and they arefull of beautiful, amazing
keywords that help you grow. Thenext step is for you to
that, podcasting is going to bethe easiest one you can actually
transcribe your podcastepisodes. So remember how I just

said Apple does not look at theshow notes to actually help you
rank. Well, funny enough, theydo look at transcription. So
make sure that you aretranscribing your podcast
episodes because they do helpyou rank higher in the
algorithm. It is strange, Iknow. But it does work and does
help. So make sure that you aretranscribing your podcast

episodes.
The next step is for you topodcast smart. So instead of you
focusing on all differentplatforms, doing all these
different things, where theyfocus on the platforms, that can
learn and understand andoptimize SEO for because it's
be SEO optimized. So thoseplatforms are of course, your
podcast, YouTube, your blog,your website, Pinterest. So
those are the platforms that Ireally want you to focus your

energy on. However, don't sithere and create content for
Pinterest, and content for yourblog, and content for your
podcast, content for YouTube,create one piece of content and
then you recycle from there. Sofor example, right now I am
recording a podcast episode.This is also becoming a video
for YouTube. It's also becominga blog. And it's also going to
not as complex as optimizing awebsite, for example. So you do

be pinned on Pinterest. So thisis how I'm leveraging SEO, when
you're ready to go next leveland really optimize for SEO and
get the visibility in differentplatforms. Make sure that you
are focusing on those SEOfriendly platforms. But also
don't ever lose track that youare a podcaster and podcasting
should come first. And then yourecycle everything from the

podcast, not the other way around.
You can literally get so manypieces of content straight out
of your podcasts, but focus onthe podcast. And don't get
sidetracked and create contentfor each individual platform
because you're going to burnyourself out. By the way I would
need to focus on SEO, optimizingyour podcast for success.

scheduling for you. Even thingson social media.
So the short form content of thevideos, we're scheduling that
for you on social media. So youget to be in your zone of
genius, and record your podcastepisode and know that you're
creating huge impact and growingyour business while we take care

win if you ask me. Now, lastly,when it comes to creating really
amazing episodes that are SEOoptimized, we need to talk about
analytics because analytics areyour friend. So instead of you

trying to come up with ideas andbasing episodes off of feelings
and vibes actually take a lookat the data and see what's
working make more of thoseepisodes, because what's
working, it's working for areason. So let's double down on
that. Let's double down onwhat's working so that we can
then go ahead and make moreepisodes and optimize the growth
of our podcast.

So you know what type of contentyou should be creating, so that
you can have more growth monthafter month, and we're not

complex. But honestly take thetime to understand SEO, because
SEO is the single most importantthing that you can do to grow
your show. And it's totallywithin your control. So take
