Physical therapist turned actor, Faheem Rashid, is a genius with an almost superhuman ability to retain information, certainly living up to his name which means "the righteously guided teacher".
We talk about the expectations he faced as the son of immigrants and a latchkey childhood that meant his babysitter was often his imagination and the television. He gets very vulnerable about his lifelong struggle with his relationship to food, which often got him kicked out of all-you-can-eat buffets, and the way his physicality became the main aspect of his identity.
