Oh my lord, I have come to ask for your love, strength, and trust. My faith in you has not been extinguished but has been made stronger. My willingness to follow you has not been diminished but has been filled with more love. And my longing to see you has not been made weary but has been guided by truth.
Save me lord, from the effects of the world. Remove from me my weakness and replace it with hope. Allow me to encourage others as you have encouraged me with your words and your love and your presence.
With you God, I am comforted and take pleasure in your will for me. With you God, your will for me is the work of the Good News. With you God, the Good News can be whole and complete. Please use me and my life to further the love and praise you receive from all nations. Amen.
