Heavenly Father, I thank you for not only giving me the word, but I thank you for your grace and power and allowing me to generously understand and wonder about your word.
God, after I read your word I go out into the world seeking the word. Often, if not always, do I crave your comfort once again. As I go out into the world, the world you created, I seek your wisdom and to enter your word again.
As I look high into the sky I see the clouds and I know that you have created them. As I watch the trees budding I wonder how easy it is for you to make the dead trees, live once more. And how the brown grass is now turning green again. And how easy it is for you my God, how easy it is for you, to take a lost soul and to give him salvation and to lead him even closer to you every single day. I ponder that and I wonder just how easy it is for you.
God please make it just as easy for me to live a life worthy of your calling. Please make it just as easy for me to remember you in all that I do and say. God please let me continue to speak your word whether openly or in my prayers, bring me closer to you even closer than I am to you now. Amen.
