Pain is migratory and transudatory. It can move from person to person. One person's pain can be felt by others who have similar life experiences. Pain causes change and is as such necessary for recovery to initiate and be sustained. Pain in memories refutes triggers as it reminds us of bad past decisions. Pain is a feeling. All feelings are instruments created by God. Thus pain is necessary. Pain warns, and Pain ignites. Pain changes. Pain has a purpose in recovery.
Recovery is a process of decisions.
