DOUBLE FEATURE INTERVIEW!
Paula Perry & Prayah!
Biography
Paula Perry: @Paulaperry101
Paula Perry born in Brooklyn NY had to jump over many hurdles before signing to motown records. Signed to Masta Ace's production company, nothing came easy. In 1998 Paula recorded her hit single Extra Extra after completing her album in which Mr cee executive produced along with Masta Ace. Unfortunately the album didn't come out till recently. With the help of Dennis Mathis her manager Paula finally let the world hear her talent and craft. Paula grew up in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Brooklyn so she couldn't hide the roughness of her voice and lyrics. Paula had many influences back then. Masta Ace was one of them because he talked her into never giving up. She then joined Masta Ace on the road alongside Lord Diggah, and DJ Lord Kassim. They performed mainly on the west coast because that was where the label Delicious Vinyl was located. Paula would accumulate thousands of fans being part of the Inc.
Today Paula continues her dream and wants to leave a legacy for yesterday and today's artists. Along with the help of Dennis Mathis and others it is very possible. Paula is a legend in her own right.
PRAYAH: @therealprayah
Busta Rhymes then founded The Conglomerate Entertainment in 2010. The collective consisted of himself, J Doe, O.T. Genasis, Murda Mook, Trillian, and Prayah.
Prayah has since emerged as the group's star, boasting hits such as 'How Low The Casket Goes featuring Rapsody, No Long Talking featuring Spice, Bad Man Ting, Love & Devotion, and the epic posse cut 'Flipmode Squad Meets The Conglomerate.
After the learning the pros and cons of being signed under a major artist, the Belize born MC who was raised in Brooklyn then more recently moved to Atlanta, has started to make moves on his own as he plans to drop new music every month with the help of Dennis Mathis, beginning with the single Something Outta Nothin featuring Papoose followed by the upcoming Valentines anthem Whine On Me.
