Baby, it's time to Review That Review!
TREY GERRALD (00:31):
Oh, hi and hello.
Welcome to Review That Review.
We are the podcast that is dedicated to reviewing,
CHELSEY DONN (00:40):
Reviews
TREY GERRALD (00:43):
that is Chelsey Donn,
CHELSEY DONN (00:44):
and that is Trey Gerrald.
TREY GERRALD (00:47):
and when we come together, we form
VOICEOVER (00:51):
The review Queens.
CHELSEY DONN (00:54):
'I.
Just realized 'I didn't have my GREs.
TREY GERRALD (00:57):
Oh
CHELSEY DONN (00:57):
I'm okay though, but
first not brought to you by GREs.
Peles.
Should we,
VOICEOVER (01:05):
Lodge, A, Complaint.
CHELSEY DONN (01:06):
and by we 'I mean the Royal.
We and 'I mean you.
TREY GERRALD (01:08):
Yeah, so 'I really
want to talk about something that
is very, um, vulnerable for me.
CHELSEY DONN (01:14):
Again.
Okay, here we go.
TREY GERRALD (01:17):
I'm really like opening
myself up to all the listeners here.
'I really wanna Lodge, A,Complaint against Sleepy voice.
CHELSEY DONN (01:25):
Mm.
TREY GERRALD (01:26):
Do you know what I'm talking about?
CHELSEY DONN (01:27):
'I mean.
'I do, but 'I wanna hearyour experience of it first?
TREY GERRALD (01:31):
'I recognize that this
sits with me and lives with me, and
it's like something 'I, it's my issue.
'cause David, my husband, does not have this issue.
But 'I really don't like beingperceived as having recently woken up.
CHELSEY DONN (01:48):
Same.
TREY GERRALD (01:49):
What will happen is that if 'I
have A' phone call or if 'I have A' meeting,
or if 'I have to do something, 'I have to like
start subtracting time in my mind to be up
early enough to like be awake enough so that it
doesn't sound like I've just recently woken up.
Now 'I can kind of place where thiscomes from in my life, 'I know.
(02:11):
Uh, and and just to be very quick and simple here.
'I grew up with A', very depressedmother who overslept and slept in really
late, and it was A', lot of stuff.
So I'm certain that 'I have like emotional stuffaround being seen as someone who sleeps in.
So I'm certain that's part ofreally what is there for me.
But 'I have noticed here in mylife, it really runs my life.
(02:36):
This fear of someone going.
Oh, did you just recently wake up?
Or if you answer the phone andthey're like, were you asleep?
That
CHELSEY DONN (02:45):
like the vocal, it's the
vocal equivalent of You look tired.
TREY GERRALD (02:49):
yes, and speaking of
looking tired, 'I 'I wasn't sure if 'I
should make this two separate complaints,
but I'll just do it all together.
'I also hate the puffiness oflike A', freshly woken face.
CHELSEY DONN (02:59):
Yes.
TREY GERRALD (03:00):
Also, this is A' joke in
this play that is called Next Fall, but.
The older partner is speaking to the youngerpartner and they're saying that like when you
wake up and you have that pillow crease on
your face and how it doesn't happen in your
twenties, it only happens when you get older.
But 'I really just 'I don't like it feelsvery exposing and bad when someone is aware
of what my sleeping habits are or Donn.
(03:27):
Don't know.
I'm just bringing this to the ledger.
'I want to hear what's.
For you, it sounds to me like you have A'similar experience as me, but 'I don't know
what it is, but it does shake me A' little
bit when 'cause 'I don't feel like I'm
in control and that's really what it is.
I'm not in control of the facility, ofmy vocal intonations or whatever that is.
And then 'I feel vulnerable, 'I feel exposed.
(03:49):
'I feel indecent.
CHELSEY DONN (03:51):
First of all, 'I would never
have thought to Lodge this as A' Complaint.
And this is hilarious and so relatable to me.
'I mean 'I think it's gonna berelatable to some of our listeners.
'I, don't think you're asalone as you think you are.
TREY GERRALD (04:04):
Oh, okay.
CHELSEY DONN (04:05):
But 'I wanna say, so when
this happens to you, this is what 'I do.
'I want to know if 'I just dothis or if you do this too.
So if I've been sleeping, when 'I know 'I shouldbe awake, which let's be honest, is often 'I will
wake up, see that it's ringing, take the like,
there's like A' ten second span where the phone
is ringing to be able to like be like, Ah, like
do you do like vocal 'I will do like A', quick
vocal warmup to try to get out of that voice.
(04:35):
And then also often we'll get, for some reason'I don't know if it's just that my sleep
voice sounds sick because 'I haven't taken my
Zyrtec yet, but I'll often get Are you sick?
TREY GERRALD (04:46):
Mm.
CHELSEY DONN (04:47):
That's my like, did you just get
TREY GERRALD (04:49):
'I mean that you just
made me think of another Complaint here.
But yes, 'I wonder what non-performer people like.
They certainly aren't doing vocal sirens, but,
CHELSEY DONN (04:58):
Right, but 'I am 'I.
TREY GERRALD (04:59):
'I do as well.
But the, the anxiety lives with meand, and it's, it's like crushing.
It is A'
CHELSEY DONN (05:05):
and 'I get that.
And like 'I think, as I've gotten older, I'vethought about it A' little bit differently
because the reality is, first of all, I'm
A' night person and I've realized 'I, like
'I set myself up to almost have A' nurses.
Schedule where, yeah, like my day's notstarting until two, but I'm not getting
home from work until like midnight.
And then sometimes I'm doing work for thepodcast until like 3:00 AM So no, I'm not
gonna get up at, you know, 7:00 AM because
then I'll only have been asleep for four hours.
(05:35):
So if you call me at 10,chances are I'm just getting up.
I'm trying to own that more 'Ithink because 'I have A', you know,
A' good friend, that's A' doctor.
And I'm like, well Steph, you know, like if she needs to sleep because
she's been on A' 48 hour call.
Not that I'm comparing myself to her.
She, she is amazing, but 'I,you know what I'm saying?
Like 'I people have different schedules and'I think we need to stop normalizing everybody
getting their seven, eight hours of sleep
at the same time because we just don't.
(06:04):
That's number one.
And number two, I'm really loving whatChelseyBD handler's doing lately with her
Instagram because she's been talking A'
lot about like not having kids by choice.
And I've been finding this thingwhere like, you know, parents will be
like, oh, well, like you do X, Y, z.
'I would do that too if 'Ihad all the time in the world.
(06:26):
And I'm like, you also decided to have kids.
That was like A' you thing that takes up bandwidthand time and 'I completely understand that and
'I think it's A' beautiful thing and you should
continue doing that, but you should also not
judge me for getting sleep because 'I don't
have kids, because that's just the trade off 'I.
Anyway, 'I.
Don't think you should feelshame about your morning voice.
(06:50):
'I.
Need 'I.
Think we need to normalize sleepy voiceand get over it and don't ask the question.
Just like we've eventually evolved and learnedas A' community to not ask people if they look
tired because we've learned that that's not A'.
Great.
Look, 'I.
Don't think it's A'.
Great.
Look to ask someone if they just woke up.
'I.
Think you should be like, thankyou so much for answering my call.
You know.
(07:10):
Hello
TREY GERRALD (07:11):
think it's gonna 'I.
Think it's gonna require A'.
Little bit more than this conversation for
CHELSEY DONN (07:14):
Listen, 'I.
Think we're gonna lead the brigade.
Trey.
TREY GERRALD (07:17):
Yeah, no 'I hear it, but 'I.
'I also recognize it's silly.
CHELSEY DONN (07:20):
It's in the ledger.
It's been added.
'I.
Hear you great.
Complaint.
TREY GERRALD (07:25):
'I feel uneasy.
But I'm hearing that it's okay.
'I.
Don't know 'cause 'I don't feel 'I.
Don't feel any different.
'I Don't think that this was gonna solve it.
'I.
Don't feel like I'm saying you let medown 'cause Donn don't think that you were
CHELSEY DONN (07:35):
Okay.
Listeners, if you relate to this problem, ifyou relate to this problem you're experiencing
yourself, you wanna normalize this for Trey,
please call 1 8 5 0 review zero and let Trey
know it's okay to sleep when you need to sleep.
TREY GERRALD (07:48):
'I actually would like that.
Okay, so shall we, should wejump into some online reviews?
ChelseyBD 'I.
Wanna hear what
CHELSEY DONN (07:54):
'I would love that.
Yes, 'I.
VOICEOVER (07:59):
Review, That, Review.
CHELSEY DONN (08:02):
As you know, we are your trustee.
Review Queens.
We bring in reviews from the internetthat we feel need to be inspected.
TREY GERRALD (08:09):
We read you A' review, then
we break it down and rate the impact of that
review on A' scale from zero to five Crowns.
This is A' very regal process that we call,
VOICEOVER (08:18):
Assess, That, Kvetch.
TREY GERRALD (08:20):
all right ChelseyBD,
what are we gonna tackle this week?
CHELSEY DONN (08:23):
Well, Trey today I'm taking you
to the cleaners, but not that kind of cleaners.
The car wash cleaners.
TREY GERRALD (08:38):
Ooh,
CHELSEY DONN (08:39):
Ooh, yeah.
TREY GERRALD (08:42):
whoa.
Okay.
CHELSEY DONN (08:42):
Anyway, here we go.
This is the Sepulveda Car Wash.
This is their page on Yelp.
All right.
They don't give you any details about thebusiness outside of the address that has A'
two and A' half overall star rating on Yelp.
They, but they've claimed it good for them.
Oh, in A' way.
This review is written by Sean B.
(09:07):
Before you even ask s e A' n
TREY GERRALD (09:12):
Really thought you were saying Sean.
It's like stressing an H, but Ss e, A' N.
Okay.
Sean
CHELSEY DONN (09:18):
'I feel like 'I, say
Shawn, either way is it not Sean.
Hey Shay, Sean B.
TREY GERRALD (09:25):
B as in butthole,
CHELSEY DONN (09:27):
Yeah.
And you will help.
You will hear me say Sean as 'I referred to him.
TREY GERRALD (09:32):
Sean.
Okay,
CHELSEY DONN (09:33):
here we go.
TREY GERRALD (09:34):
And Sean's is also A' two star?
CHELSEY DONN (09:36):
Sorry, 'I didn't say that.
Okay.
This is Sean B's one star reviewof the Sepulveda Car Wash.
TREY GERRALD (09:43):
And how close are
you to this car wash, by the way?
CHELSEY DONN (09:46):
Pretty close, like
this is actually really close to my
work, so maybe like A' half hour.
TREY GERRALD (09:51):
'I.
Just wanna say 'I have A' feelingthat this is gonna really help.
Manuel, who?
We inducted several episodes back.
CHELSEY DONN (09:59):
Ah, Trey 'I was
hoping you would remember and
TREY GERRALD (10:02):
Oh, of course.
CHELSEY DONN (10:04):
This review by Sean B is
precisely why 'I use Manuel and his services.
All right, here we go.
This is A' one star review by Sean B.
Quite honestly, the worst car wash 'I have paidfor in half A' century of living in Los Angeles.
An automatic drive-through wash atA' gas station for A' dollar 50.
(10:28):
Upcharge at the pump is more effective, almost zero effort on the interior 'I tip.
Well too regretted it themoment 'I drove off the lot.
Nice complimentary kid who handed me thekeys, but the work was legit, substandard.
(10:51):
Didn't even wipe dust.
The dash A' kindergartner could do A'.
Better job vacuuming.
It was uncommonly quick, but now 'I knowwhy They essentially did asterisk, not A'.
Asterisk, asterisk, asterisk,asterisk, squat, asterisk.
TREY GERRALD (11:18):
What?
CHELSEY DONN (11:20):
Zilch looked like they were
wiping stuff down, but seemingly not.
Cannot recommend and 'I do not go outta my wayto write poor reviews, but without exaggeration.
This was simply the most wasteful useof $30 for A' Wash and $12 for A' tip.
(11:49):
'I have put towards my car ever.
Your odds of being pleased here are low 5050 at best by perusing the other reviews,
TREY GERRALD (12:01):
Hmm.
CHELSEY DONN (12:02):
sorry.
Biz fire your management.
Train your peeps.
Elsewise.
Your biz model is just shoddy work at volume.
You can fool A' customer once,but 'I am Audi 5,000 G Money.
TREY GERRALD (12:25):
What,
CHELSEY DONN (12:26):
Parentheses, 'I Drive A' Toyota,
TREY GERRALD (12:36):
wait, what?
CHELSEY DONN (12:38):
but 'I Drive A' Toyota.
TREY GERRALD (12:40):
Wait,
CHELSEY DONN (12:41):
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (12:42):
'I am Audi 5,000 G money.
CHELSEY DONN (12:45):
'I think that he was like being
facetious and funny, like I'm Audi 5,000 bitches.
You know what 'I mean?
Like
TREY GERRALD (12:51):
then why did he feel like
he needed to say he drove A' Toyota?
CHELSEY DONN (12:54):
maybe because he wanted
to clarify that when he was saying Audi,
he wasn't like, 'I am like hot shit.
'I Drive an Audi.
He was like, oh, 'I don't wannalook like I'm just being spoiled.
Like 'I have nice things.
It's like 'I Drive, A' Toyota, 'I Drive, A', runof the mill car, and my expectations are average.
That's what 'I got from that.
TREY GERRALD (13:14):
is $30 A'.
Lot of money for A' car wash
CHELSEY DONN (13:17):
I'd say it's average 'I.
'I.
Mean 'I.
Think 'I might've even honestlygone to this car wash once.
But it's just, you know, it's A' regular, like half machine, half hand wash 'I think.
Yeah, exactly.
So 'I think that that's like pretty standard 'I,honestly, think the $12 tip was very 'I mean.
He did mention he gave A' generoustip, but what do you think about $12?
TREY GERRALD (13:39):
Yeah, that's A'.
Lot of money.
CHELSEY DONN (13:40):
That's A'.
That's like A'.
Very big.
Usually I'll give $5.
TREY GERRALD (13:44):
Yeah, it's, it sounds like A'.
Very generous tip.
CHELSEY DONN (13:47):
Yeah.
Which may be, and, and, okay.
'I, 'I don't want, 'I, want your firstimpressions before 'I say anything else.
TREY GERRALD (13:52):
Well, I'm trying to figure
out, It seems as though Shawn is just saying
that they didn't really clean on the inside.
'I think it, it appears to me that the outsidewas cleaned 'cause they didn't realize until they
were driving away that the dash wasn't wiped down.
All the other stuff.
But 'I, guess
CHELSEY DONN (14:14):
And that's what they said.
Uh, in the very beginning they saidalmost zero effort on the interior.
So they, they are laying that out.
TREY GERRALD (14:22):
And then they also, like they
also mentioned, which 'I thought was funny,
like they were seemingly wiping it down.
So I'm just
like picturing like people, likepretending like, like that meme of that
purse, like there's some background actor
that's like sweeping the background, but
it's the s broom's not on the ground.
CHELSEY DONN (14:36):
hilarious.
Yeah.
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (14:38):
They also use
very interesting words, 'I.
Think like zilch is such A' weird word.
And biz and peeps.
CHELSEY DONN (14:45):
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (14:46):
'I.
Guess.
'I.
I'm, I'm just wanting to hear thisobjectively because 'I 'I don't have A'.
Lot of experience with car washes as an adult, but 'I mean you're going to get your car cleaned.
So like shouldn't it be cleaned?
CHELSEY DONN (15:00):
And what do you like,
what do you think Sean B looks like?
Or do you have any first impressionsof who Sean B is as A' person?
TREY GERRALD (15:06):
Well, you know, it 'I did hear
'I do not go outta my way to write negative
reviews, which is sort of an interesting
thing to contribute 'cause it's either 'I.
Truth or it's covering thefact that you're A', A', Karen.
So, or A' can, 'I haven't really consideredwhat 'I think Shawn looks like, but 'I do
wonder, 'cause 'I do know that these car
washes have lots of different packages.
(15:30):
So 'I wonder if, like Sean didn't get like theintense detailing package, but then again, I'm
confused about why they were feigning cleaning.
'I Dunno.
Why do you ask what, what does Sean look
CHELSEY DONN (15:41):
'I wanna, 'I was gonna show you.
Yeah, 'I mean 'I.
Think Sean is somebody that thinks,
TREY GERRALD (15:48):
maybe.
CHELSEY DONN (15:49):
oh.
Oh, interesting.
So you think he has bifocals.
Okay.
'I am
TREY GERRALD (15:51):
Well 'cause they're really
picking up that there's dust everywhere.
Oh, A'.
Nice profile.
It looks like A' quarter.
CHELSEY DONN (15:58):
Right.
'I feel like Shawn's the kind of personthat was like super popular back in
the day, like maybe in high school
TREY GERRALD (16:06):
He has A' goatee.
CHELSEY DONN (16:07):
there.
'I think he, like he's smiling 'I.
Think he goes to Dodgers games.
You know,
TREY GERRALD (16:13):
'I would think that maybe he
doesn't like gay people, but 'I do view the world
CHELSEY DONN (16:17):
Interesting.
Okay.
'I.
'I mean he definitely looks like A' guy thatwould go to the bar, have A' beer, and then like
maybe watch A' game, possibly spit in public,
TREY GERRALD (16:29):
'I would think that
Sean would wash his own car like 'I.
Feel like Sean would be that kind of guy.
That's like every Saturdays waxing.
CHELSEY DONN (16:39):
Yes.
TREY GERRALD (16:39):
car,
CHELSEY DONN (16:40):
feel like Sean is very regimented.
TREY GERRALD (16:43):
but he does look pleasant to me.
He doesn't look like A' jerk.
CHELSEY DONN (16:45):
looks like he maybe
goes to the gym, maybe works out,
TREY GERRALD (16:48):
So this photo
is like literally his prof.
It's just like A' zoom in shot of his face, but heis looking to the side, so it literally looks like
CHELSEY DONN (16:56):
and he is smiling to the side.
But 'I don't really get to see his likeeyes, which is the only way 'I can really
tell someone's smile is genuine or not.
TREY GERRALD (17:04):
Like why would this be your picture?
Like you're looking in the wrong
CHELSEY DONN (17:07):
'I mean The main
focus that I'm seeing is an ear.
You know what 'I mean?
It's an interesting profile.
Anyway, he does seem nice enough.
'I.
'I don't, I'm not writing Sean off from the image.
'I was just curious what you thought.
'I just, it's something about thatlanguage that we were discussing that 'I
feel like he used to be cool back in the
day when he was like, what's up my peeps
TREY GERRALD (17:27):
The G Money thing 'I think
CHELSEY DONN (17:29):
G Money.
TREY GERRALD (17:30):
How?
Wait.
'I didn't see when was it written?
CHELSEY DONN (17:33):
2021.
So this is A' like fairly recent review.
It's not like this review was writtenwhen using peeps was like all the rage.
TREY GERRALD (17:42):
Yeah, 'I, remember, uh, David's
lease ended like after Covid 'I, and we had to
get it detailed, you know, before we returned it.
And 'I remember being concernedabout people being inside of the car.
So it's interesting that A' year after Covid, thisperson's like they didn't detail the inside Donn.
Don't know 'I, think 'I.
Do believe 'I trust that Sean is right.
(18:02):
Like 'I don't.
then may 'I, no 'I kind of, well, 'I don't know.
'I wonder like, is it reallythat dirty on the inside?
Or like, 'cause dust just sortof kicks up and goes around.
So is it, do you think we, they wiped it downand then it just like didn't get out of the car?
CHELSEY DONN (18:19):
believe Sean, I've been in A' situs.
'I have been in quite this badsituation, but I've definitely been in
situations where 'I get into my car.
And 'I don't feel like the interior was clean.
I'm gonna leave A' little bit of roomfor what you said, which is maybe
there was A' more expensive package.
'I know that like sometimes I'llhave to get the $50 package if 'I
really want A', good interior clean.
(18:41):
So maybe this was just like the basic packageand they just do A' quick wipe down, and that's
the wiping that Shawn was seeing, you know?
But it was not gonna be A' thorough wipe, but, But 'I also think it's interesting what
'I like about Sean in this one star review.
Besides that, they said that theydon't often write poor reviews.
They also said there's A' 50 50 chancethat you might be disappointed or not
disappointed based on the other reviews.
(19:07):
So
TREY GERRALD (19:08):
Yeah, 'I thought that was
CHELSEY DONN (19:09):
'I thought that that was
interesting, like they're not just A', total
curmudgeon who's like, this place is horrible.
It's like, maybe you'll end upon the right side of the coin.
What do 'I know?
TREY GERRALD (19:18):
Well, you know, we often talk about
that, but even in hearing the review, when Sean
says the kid was like, pleasant enough and, and
handed me the keys, that did make me think, okay,
well maybe 'I won't get that kid that was lazy.
CHELSEY DONN (19:34):
Right.
TREY GERRALD (19:35):
Which sort of points out
like, how common is this 'I don't know, but.
CHELSEY DONN (19:39):
it's interesting that
you read it that way because 'I thought
it was weird that he was like, 'I gave
the tip, then immediately regretted it.
The boy was nice.
It's like 'I don't know.
There was something in the order of the, like ifthe kid's A' nice kid and they're working at the
car wash and 'I gave them A' general tip and 'I
drove off and 'I was unhappy with A' car wash.
(20:00):
'I wouldn't regret that.
'I gave the $12 tip.
In my mind, no be you would, because 'I wouldfeel like, well, that kid probably needs the $12.
He's like working at A' car Wash.
He's A' kid, whatever.
'I didn't get the impression that the kidwas the only one that was cleaning the inside
TREY GERRALD (20:15):
Well, that's another
thing like isn't it usually A'?
Couple of guys cleaning
CHELSEY DONN (20:20):
'I would be more mad at the
car wash that 'I spent the $30 in the car
wash and like trying to take it up with
them than take it up with like the person
that 'I just tipped that probably is getting
paid A' very low hour, like hourly wage.
TREY GERRALD (20:33):
Well, that's A'.
Okay.
Well that's maybe interesting becausemaybe there is something missing to the
value here for me because 'I want to
know when was it, was it super busy?
Was there A' line that was going into the
CHELSEY DONN (20:45):
said that it was really fast.
It was like quick, almost too quick,
TREY GERRALD (20:49):
right?
Because I'm wondering if you go at peakhours, are they gonna be quicker because
they're trying to get people in and out,
so then therefore it might be lessdetailed, or was it pretty slow
and they were like ready for lunch?
'I don't know.
'I.
Do 'I understand that you're paying for A' productand so you want that to be consistent and good.
(21:12):
Worth the money.
But 'I also recognize, it's like it's when youbrought in the PAC Sun Review, it's like we were
so amazed that the people were doing their job.
That I'm also sort of like, well, look, it'slike these are kids working at A' Car Wash.
Like, what is your, but then you'repaying $30, you end up leaving 42.
(21:33):
Do like 'I don't.
CHELSEY DONN (21:35):
Well, let's put our 'I.
Think that part of the problem here.
Let's remove our bias for A'.
Second, because 'I don't, youdon't really go to car washes.
And we have our opinions about Sean, but I'm A' person that's looking
for A' car wash in Los Angeles.
Let's say 'I ha 'I.
Don't look at the top to see that it'sA' two and A' half, because that's
an automatic disqualification, right?
(21:56):
But let's say 'I don't.
And let's say 'I come uponSean's review and I'm reading it.
Am 'I going to this car wash?
'I Want A' Car wash 'I?
'I.
'I.
Want A'?
Good one.
TREY GERRALD (22:06):
'I don't.
No 'I.
Think 'I wouldn't.
CHELSEY DONN (22:08):
'I.
Think 'I wouldn't.
TREY GERRALD (22:09):
It's pretty convincing.
And even, even in the cleanliness of Seanpointing out, given all the reviews today,
it's 50 50 chance, well, 'I don't want A' 50 50
CHELSEY DONN (22:18):
Right, exactly.
And 'I feel like 'I believe Sean, even when they're saying that
like given the review, it's A'.
So it's like if I'm gonna like luck out andget the one person that actually is very
good at their job, but 'I might not like,
that's not A' risk, that 'I wanna take 'I.
Do think the biz is reallyfunny, like 'I don't know why?
Because it feels very intenseand like, Diplomatic in A' Way.
(22:43):
And then we got into the na, the Nada squat.
Zilch, sorry, biz Audi 5,000.
Like, it's almost like there's two voices to Sean.
TREY GERRALD (22:52):
What about spelling grammar here?
That seems fine, right?
All of that's good.
'I just don't really know about the commonality.
'I mean.
'I.
Think that Sean does A'.
Good job at pointing out.
This is what 'I can gatherfrom all of the reviews, 'I.
It's 50 50.
So that's sort of hard to tell, but 'I do feel influenced.
What about humor?
Entertainment?
I'm
CHELSEY DONN (23:12):
'I.
Feel Humored.
TREY GERRALD (23:14):
I'm also uncomfortable
with the parenthetical at the end.
Who ends on that?
CHELSEY DONN (23:19):
'I Drive.
A' Toyota.
TREY GERRALD (23:23):
It doesn't 'I.
Don't 'I really Don't get why he put that there.
But
CHELSEY DONN (23:26):
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (23:26):
'I think 'I could crown.
Sean, do you have any other thoughts?
CHELSEY DONN (23:29):
I'm ready.
TREY GERRALD (23:30):
All right, so ChelseyBD and 'I each
have our own set of zero to five crown cards.
In an effort to be fair and not influenced by oneanother, we will simultaneously reveal our rating.
VOICEOVER (23:39):
The Queens are Tabulating
school.
CHELSEY DONN (23:47):
Okay.
Four crowns.
Four crowns.
Trey.
The Queens are unanimous.
Why are you giving Sean B four Crowns?
TREY GERRALD (23:56):
Once again, I'm really in this
era in 2023 of wanting photographic evidence.
'I want there to be photos of how dirty it is.
CHELSEY DONN (24:04):
Mm, good
TREY GERRALD (24:05):
Period.
But 'I do have an impact here.
'I.
'I generally trust Sean.
'I Appreciate the levity of like theG money and Audi 5,000, all of that,
even though it doesn't make sense.
And 'I, at the end of the day, regardless ofwhatever you're purchasing, you should not be
in the wrong for being displeased with the,
the result like 'I, if you're wanting your
car to be washed, it should be washed, period.
(24:29):
So 'I feel split here.
But ultimately you asking if you weretrying to find A' car wash in LA and
you read this, are you gonna go or not?
And 'I think I'm not gonna golike 'I would look for A' di A'.
Different one.
Yeah.
So that's why 'I said four strong points.
Lasting impact, probably.
But not Queen, not total Queen.
Show me the dust.
(24:49):
'I.
Wanna see it?
CHELSEY DONN (24:50):
yeah.
Show me the dust.
TREY GERRALD (24:52):
Why did you say four crowns?
CHELSEY DONN (24:54):
'I said Four crowns because 'I.
Think it's A'.
Good review.
'I think it's solid.
I'm convinced.
'I think it has humor.
It's A'.
Little bit different.
We clearly had good intentionswhen we were writing it.
We balanced it out with A'.
Little compliment sandwich kind of in the middle.
Never really seen it done that way, but 'Ithink it was still effective here for Sean.
(25:15):
My one question that 'I am left with is if thecar wash was so quick, too quick, then why didn't
you turn around and maybe tell somebody, Hey, 'I.
My interior didn't get cleaned.
Seemingly you got outta there earlier than youthought you were going to, so maybe you could have
gone back and they could have redeemed themselves.
(25:38):
That's the one crown I'm leaving.
'I feel like we, we didn't comment on that.
Like that element of it, even though 'I guessthat would be kind of A', Karen, confession.
But still you can talk to the manager.
TREY GERRALD (25:50):
to be in
CHELSEY DONN (25:50):
not, but I'm just,
I'm still giving them four crowns.
I'm just leaving one crown for speak.
Your mind.
In the moment and also
TREY GERRALD (26:00):
woken up.
CHELSEY DONN (26:02):
maybe Shawn had morning voice and
they just didn't feel like speaking that day.
But Shawn is pretty queenly for me,
TREY GERRALD (26:09):
Yeah.
Generally.
So
CHELSEY DONN (26:10):
and 'I liked the review.
So four crowns for you, Shawn.
B
TREY GERRALD (26:15):
Good.
All right.
Well you should go ChelseyBD andreport back live on the scene.
CHELSEY DONN (26:19):
maybe 'I will Donn.
Don't know that 'I.
Trust him with my car though.
TREY GERRALD (26:22):
'I also like that you said
the name 'cause that is such A' weird
name to see when you don't live in A'
and it's like se Sepulveda Boulevard and
CHELSEY DONN (26:31):
'I know.
My mom like loves it.
She's just lo, she loves Sepulveda Boulevard.
It's just, you don't really, there aren't thatmany streets that have that many syllables
TREY GERRALD (26:42):
Especially like when SIR is like,
it's like 'I, have no idea how to say that word.
CHELSEY DONN (26:48):
have.
Right.
Anyway, what's the car wash song?
TREY GERRALD (26:53):
Working at the car wash.
Yeah.
whoa, whoa.
At the car wash
CHELSEY DONN (26:59):
Just A' kid working at the car wash.
TREY GERRALD (27:04):
my $12 tip.
CHELSEY DONN (27:06):
kid though.
Yeah.
Nice kid.
All right.
We have reached the mostregal portion of our show.
Try.
Who are you inducting for?
VOICEOVER (27:17):
My Royal line is,
TREY GERRALD (27:19):
So today 'I have A'.
Really exciting, good Samaritan story.
'I.
Love to bring these in every now and then.
So today, ChelseyBD, I'm gonna share with youand our listeners, A' little inspiration here
to remind us that there is good in the world.
So today I'm going to induct.
An Ohio citizen named Robert Snead.
Yes, we're giving you first andlast names because they deserve it.
(27:40):
So this is A' little story.
Robert was shopping with his daughterat Walmart in Ohio and they got A' cart.
'I would say buggy, but they don't say buggy.
In Ohio, probably they got A' cartand there was A' piece of paper
like still left over in the cart.
They thought was like A' shopping list.
So they grabbed it to like take itoutta the cart and throw it away.
(28:02):
And they realized it was heavy and it wasan envelope filled with $2,000 in cash.
CHELSEY DONN (28:07):
Wow,
TREY GERRALD (28:09):
And the reason we know is because
Robert Snead decided to do the right thing.
They looked, there was actually likeA' bank statement inside as well,
like 'I guess like had taken cash out.
It was A' Sunday, so the bank was closed, but Robert knew that whoever owned this
money was probably freaking out, so they
went to A' manager and left it with the
manager and then also made like A' social
media post, like about how they found it.
(28:36):
So all of these like news outlets have coveredit and it did get back to the rightful owner.
But Robert said he was interviewed, of course,by the local news, and he says, I'd like to
think that if something like that ever happened
to me, someone would do the same thing for me.
For someone who's living paycheckto paycheck, this may set them back.
It can really mess up someone's summer.
(28:58):
He did the right thing.
'I mean $2,000 and, and thinkit's like A', Walmart, like 'I.
Don't know.
'I.
'I, just 'I.
Am touched by the story 'I.
Think it's really wonderful.
It is one of those moments of like, all right, like I'm being tested here.
Like, do 'I buy myself A'new flat screen tv or do 'I.
Do the
CHELSEY DONN (29:16):
Do the right
TREY GERRALD (29:16):
Robert chose to do
the right thing and so did that.
Manager 'I just wanna keep stressing that the
CHELSEY DONN (29:22):
Oh yeah.
TREY GERRALD (29:23):
to A' manager, A' manager
outta A', Walmart in Ohio, and that
manager tracked down the person.
So whoever that manager is,they also should be being
CHELSEY DONN (29:33):
Good?
TREY GERRALD (29:33):
But they have
CHELSEY DONN (29:33):
Good point.
Trey.
TREY GERRALD (29:35):
So Robert Snead, we see you.
We hear you.
Your daughter is gonna bethriving because of who you are.
And hopefully we all are touchedby the story as much as 'I was.
So for that reason, Robert Sneed in Ohio, thank you for doing the right thing.
You are My Royal.
Highness
CHELSEY DONN (29:53):
We snead more
Robert Sneads in the world.
TREY GERRALD (29:57):
'I.
Wonder if, um, Robert Snead drives A' Toyota?
CHELSEY DONN (30:00):
Snead, are you listening?
Snead.
Sneed.
TREY GERRALD (30:03):
Do you get it or no?
CHELSEY DONN (30:05):
'I.
'I do get it?
'cause of the review.
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (30:08):
Mm-hmm.
CHELSEY DONN (30:08):
Yeah.
TREY GERRALD (30:09):
Well we did A' Queen.
