This week Vonia tells the story of Melissa Dohme and her brutal experience that led her to the love of her life. Spoiler it was the firefighter / EMT who saved her life at the scene of the crime. We are dying over this story.
When the doctors told her she would likely never talk or walk again, Melissa only heard her own voice saying...YES I WILL! And my goodness, she did and while thanking the first responders who saved her. Spark flew! This courageous story ends well. Her positive outlook and determination is so inspiring and we strive to be like her in tough times. Melissa has gone on to speak out about Domestic Violence today.
