The elements of factual communication and rapport building are enhanced by using the factual method of gathering information by asking; what, where, when, who and how before asking why. Using the five factual elemental approach helps one avoid the traps of opinion and emotional load and discourages defensiveness and the need to justify which becomes a tangential, abstract, entangling mess very quickly that can lead to serious consequences and breaking of communication.
