Naomi Katz (00:03):
Welcome to
Satisfaction Factor, the Podcast
where we explore how ditchingdiet culture makes our whole
lives more satisfying.
Welcome back to an unexpectedsatisfaction factor Podcast. I'm
(00:24):
Naomi cats and intuitive eatingbody image and self trust coach.
Sadie Simpson (00:28):
I'm Sadie
Simpson, a group fitness
instructor, personal trainer andintuitive eating counselor. And
surprise, we are actually herethis week, but only for a few
minutes. Last week, we let youknow that we are shifting into
an every other week podcastformat, which we are in fact
doing. But we wanted to share alittle bit about our new podcast
(00:51):
community dissatisfaction space, because enrollment is officially
open as of today.
Naomi Katz (00:58):
Yeah, so this won't
be a full episode, it's just
going to be a quick update, giving you the inside scoop on
what the satisfaction space isall about and an opportunity to
enroll.
Sadie Simpson (01:09):
Yeah, we talk
pretty often on here about the
importance of building communityin a way that's in alignment
with our values. But sometimesthat can be really hard to do,
especially in real life. And theInternet can be a really great
place to meet other people whoshare similar values, who have
(01:29):
similar interests, and areworking towards similar goals.
And also, that's how we met, wemet on the internet, and we want
to meet lots of other peopletoo, especially folks who listen
to this podcast.
Naomi Katz (01:43):
Yeah, absolutely. I
love a good internet friend.
Internet friends are the best.
So the satisfaction space wasdesigned to support listeners of
the satisfaction factor podcast,in diving deeper into the work
of disengaging from dietculture. And we're going to do
that with the support of aprivate virtual community of
(02:05):
folks who share similar valuesand interests, bonus content
during the podcast off week'smonthly live virtual hangouts
with us. So think things likeq&a sessions, mini group
coaching sessions and more. Anda community feed where you can
post your comments or questionsand you can get feedback from
(02:28):
us, as well as from your fellowcommunity members,
Sadie Simpson (02:34):
we create a
dissatisfaction space
specifically for folks who arein the process of ditching diet
culture and are interested inincorporating intuitive eating,
and anti diet practices. And wewanted to make a space that was
really free of diet and weightloss talk a place where people
could share their experienceswith others on the same path.
(02:56):
And of course, we wanted to havea spot to get to know listeners
of the satisfaction factorpodcast and for our listeners to
get to know each other and forus just to have a bigger
conversation outside of just thetwo of us talking to each other.
Yeah,
Naomi Katz (03:14):
absolutely. Like, if
you have ever found yourself
listening to the podcast, andwishing that you could
contribute to the conversation, make a comment, ask a question,
anything like that? That isabsolutely what the space is
for. Yes. And we are reallysuper excited to support you in
this way. And for you to have aspace to explore how ditching
(03:37):
diet culture makes your wholelife more satisfying.
Sadie Simpson (03:41):
Yes, so this is a
paid community. But it was
really important for us whendeciding to make this a paid
community to make thisfinancially accessible. And at
the same time, we really neededto make this podcast
sustainable. So it's $10 amonth, you can cancel it
anytime. And this is a great wayfor listeners to not only
(04:03):
support themselves by engagingin community but also to support
us and to access low cost q&asessions or mini coaching
sessions. Up until now both ofus have each offered one on one
coaching and group coachingprograms. And some of those
things come at a higher pricerange, or maybe the groups made
(04:26):
at a time that are accessible toyour schedule within the
satisfaction space. We wanted tocreate a space that was not only
financially accessible, butdidn't take a lot of your time.
And you could get a lot of valueout of it. Yeah,
Naomi Katz (04:42):
I like the you know,
it's it's accessible. It's low
cost, it's high value. It's highaccessibility, kind of all of
that stuff.
Sadie Simpson (04:50):
