Happy New Year, lovers! At the close of 2022, Kiko and Emily dig into their end-of-year experiences with holiday anxieties and miracles. Kiko recounts how their heart grew “a little bit” through an act of random generosity, and Emily reflects back the layered life lessons she is learning in the process of baking a layered pudding cake (see what we did there?). They both share what they’re *clear* on right now in their respective spiritual journeys, and what they have *fear* around (see what we did there AGAIN? Clear and fear rhyme ^-^). Kiko reminds us we always have a choice; Emily ponders some painful truths around her cycles of burnout and exhaustion. We touch on releasing old narratives, universal pain, the eczema on Kiko’s left shin, Samara from The Ring, Avatar 2, the bad day to good day pipeline, panic attacks at the Park Slope Food Co-op (easy mode), and unconditional love for our families and friends (hard mode).

On a personal note: thank you for tuning in this year to Savior Complex. We (Kiko, Emily, and Mikel), have loved working on this endlessly challenging and rewarding project where we attempt to bear our souls, share our spiritual beliefs, and surrender MORE than we ever thought possible. We can’t wait to continue the journey into 2023… and beyond… XOXO
