An English writer, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist; Beatrix Potter was best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
Potter had a lifelong fascination with rhymes, and the result of a series of unusual events was Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes.
