It's Thanksgiving week, which marks the beginning of the holiday season. Some would say "It's the most wonderful time of the year"... I, however, beg to differ... and in today's soulo episode I'll explain why the holiday season can be hard on us all for different reasons. It's a great time to check in with yourself, your needs, and the expectations you've been taking on that perhaps don't align with your true values and beliefs. I use the 5 love languages to decipher all the ways we can express our love, gratitude, and inner peace during this time of year. Time to let go of the commercialism, consumerism, and conventional expectations imposed by society, strangers, and even our communities and closer relationships and get clear on how we want to express these things authentically for ourselves. Lastly I'll share some ways in which I'm staying aligned through practices embodying self love, inner peace, and my personal space in hopes that they leave you feeling inspired to check in with yourself too and really choose to create space for the things that light you up inside. So much gratitude for you, and for this ability to share this message and moment with you. Namaste & Happy Holidays xx
