Friends was an NBC sitcom created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane, which ran for 10 seasons from 1994-2004. The show starred 6 actors who were relatively unknown at the time and launched them almost immediately into superstardom.
Known for their extravagant Thanksgiving episodes, Friends became a bit of a divisive show, with some people loving and others hating the sitcom looking at a group of friends drinking coffee, talking about relationships, and managing the expectations of being a young adult in New York City.
