Being a Strong Black Woman is played out. You've been doing everything on your own because you believe that no one will be there for you. If you grew up with an emotionally, mentally or physically absent mother getting your needs met in a way that made you feel seen, heard and loved, you probably don't believe you can count on anyone. In this episode I talk about  how being hyper independent is a trauma response and how you can begin healing that wound and start building supporting relationships where people can help and show up for you.

Jennifer Arnise is a Spiritual Coach/Mentor and Intuitive Healer, speaker and author who who helps Black women heal from the painful relationship with their mother so the can love themselves fully and experience more passion, pleasure, joy and fulfillment in their lives.
