Eugenia Foxworth sits down with the legendary choreographer Alfred Gallman, who has studied with some of New York's elite dancers and choreographers. Alfred speaks on the changes in dance and broadway and how opportunities for young black dancers have changed dramatically over time and how dance has increased in television productions as well as music videos. As a Dancer Alfred has performed with Pepsi Bethel Authentic Jazz Dance Theater, Alvin Ailey Dance Center Workshop, Fred Benjamin Dance Company, Nanette Bearden Contemporary Dance Company, Otis Salid New Arts Ensemble and guest artist with the Munakata Jazz Dance Company in Japan. He was a featured performer of the National Touring Company of the Tony Award winning musical of THE WIZ!
