In 1899, Dr. Emily Goodwin (Bonnie Bogovich) is summoned to the home of Andrew Ballard (Carter Calahan), an old flame. With help from the local coroner, Arthur Darrows (Josiah Robinson), she begins investigating the history of the Ballard family and its possible connection to the harrowing events plaguing the New York countryside.
