Today, Chad and Jess are back to talk about a beloved 1980's cult classic film, that for some reason Chad had never seen until now, The Lost Boys. For us, vampire films are extremely hit or miss. From Nosferatu to Twilight, it seems as if every writer and director have their own opinion as to what the rules of being eternally damned should be. Some stay more traditional, while others tend to be more modern and edgy, but with The Lost Boys, Joel Schumacher demanded we hold his beer and watch helplessly in awe of both, and neither at the same time. Does it hold up simply because of horny nostalgia, or can it stand it's ground in the endless plethora of vampiric content regurgitated year after year? We'll try to answer that question while we get distracted by a shirtless saxman and severe lack of crying little sisters in this episode!
