Felicia ‘Fe’ Montes is a Xicana Indigenous artist, activist, community and event organizer, educator, FEmcee, designer, poet, performer, professor and practitioner of the healing arts living and the founding director of Mujeres de Maiz working in the Los Angeles area.
Mujeres de Maiz is set to commemorate their 27th anniversary marked by the release of their book anthology and over half million dollar grant from the Mellon Foundation on (click on event to be redirected) Sunday, April 7th with ‘Mujeres de Maíz En Movimiento’ book release and live art show celebration on April 7, 2024 from 5-8pm.
