In this episode I’m doing a deep dive into one of my favorite subjects, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), and it’s with my friend and expert, Kody Gruenke. Kody is a former sales manager running a team of over 30 people doing seven figures a month. Today he trains people how to increase sales by using communication skills that come from NLP practices. He also certifies people to teach the program. Kody reminds us we are 100 percent responsible for all our communications skills, both verbal and non-verbal. And it’s also our responsibility to understand the communication skills of others, so that everyone reaps the benefits in both our personal and professional lives. I know you will learn better communication skills from just listening to this episode and practicing some of Kody’s examples. In our conversation, we discussed: ·        Understanding the myths of NLP. ·        The mindset of “sales.” ·        Listening and understanding the communication style of others. ·        Understanding words, tonality, physiology and energy communications. ·        Understanding language patterns. ·        How NLP makes you a better salesperson.
