Imagine trying to express yourself in a language you don't know. Seems impossible, right? That's how Jacey Firth-Hagen felt when she was learning about her Gwich'in culture without actually getting to know the language. Gwich'in is one the most endangered Indigenous languages in Canada with only a few hundred speakers left—and most of them are over 65 years old. Jacey launched #SpeakGwichinToMe to help bring back the language and now there'll be a documentary premiering later this month showcasing her efforts.
