In the history of science fiction, aliens have gotten better and even fairer representation than Indigenous people. Now Marvel launched a new Inuk character called Snowguard. She's a teen from Pangnirtung who's ready for a new lifelong adventure. Jim Zub collaborated with Nyla Innuksuk to create Snow Guard and give an accurate representation of young, modern Inuk woman. We chat about Indigenous representation in pop culture, its power and the relevance of comics today.
