This is the tragic story of Charles Scudder, Joey Odom and Lieutenant Kirby Phelps. After giving up a semi conventional life in the city Charles and Joey began building their own little paradise deep in the woods of Georgia. They soon became known affectionately as The Gay Devilworshippers in the woods and would solidify themselves and their self made slice of heaven in the states lore.
