In this episode I chat with one of our beautiful coaching clients, Karlie (who is also a nutritionist), about her journey towards sustainable body composition and improved health. Karlie shares her journey away from keto and paleo diets towards a more pro-metabolic approach. She joined the program to improve her body composition and has been part of it for three consecutive 16-week cycles.
Karlie chats about:
👉A shift in her diet to more balanced meals with ample protein and carbohydrates.
👉Noticeable changes in her body composition, with increased muscle mass and weight loss.
👉Improved energy levels, libido, and skin health.
👉How she's enjoying eating over 2200 calories a day with a focus on foods she enjoys.
👉Significant improvements in her lifting techniques and strength, with personal coaching being pivotal.
👉The challenge of consistently filming and uploading gym videos for coaching feedback but finding it highly beneficial for improving form and technique.
👉Her husband's support and participation in her dietary and exercise routines.
Karlie absolutely loves the program, emphasising the value of coaching and the importance of patience and commitment. She also says that the program is an education in sustainable health and fitness practices not a quick fix.
