Speaker 1 (00:26):
Thank you how we doing everybody, and welcome to
wisconsin sports on the go withtrage.
I'm your host, trage.
It is Friday, the sun isshining, it is a fantastic day

(00:48):
setting up a fantastic weekendhere in Wisconsin.
Right, we got they're talking alittle cooler today, but I
heard 70s over the weekend there.
So I mean I can only imaginesome yard work here and there.
Everybody's going to be gettingout and about.
It is a great time of year rightnow here in the great state of
wisconsin and lots of sportsgoing on.
Brewers sadly rained outyesterday, but back in action

(01:10):
this weekend.
Here.
They're gonna have a split,they're gonna have a double
header there with the reds lateron this season, but yesterday
too much rain in the forecast.
I believe it didn't stopraining there until like four
o'clock.
What last time I knew anything?
So brewers move on.
They're gonna be taking on theorioles here coming up this
weekend.
We're gonna look at that game.

(01:30):
We're gonna look at the buckschedule.
We're just gonna jump around alittle bit today and check out
how wisconsin sports are faringthis time of year here.
So right away I there was onething yesterday that happened.
I heard the news and I didn'tknow how to process it.

(01:50):
And that was the passing of OJSimpson.
And you know, everybody outthere is going to have their own
opinions on the whole situationand how people should feel and
everything like that.
I get that.
I get it 100%.
I do feel for the family, youknow, and if you don't feel bad

(02:15):
for the family that's sittingthere grieving right now, okay,
that's your own thing, okay, andI'm not asking you to agree
with me on that statement, but Ido feel for the family because
they are going through a toughtime right now.
So, with that being said, prayers to the family Now.
In his career he was a very goodfootball player.

(02:39):
Afterwards to watch the careerspiral, that was a promising
life that went, I mean, downhillvery fast.
That's all you can say.
That's all you can say.
So there really isn't, I mean, much to say on the situation.
Not much that I want to say,not much that I want to talk

(02:59):
about.
Just to mention the passing ofOJ Simpson.
That's all.
That's all I want to do on theshow here.
I've thought about it in my ownhead, what to say in this
situation, but I'm not going tosit here.
And you know, bruce Jenner, this thing right, because Bruce
Jenner had to come out and saidthat I mean basically just say

(03:21):
good, just good.
Out and said that I meanbasically just saying good, just
good.
And you know people like that, where Bruce has done some bad
things in his life too, orwhatever.
You know his, her, whatever youwant to say has done some bad
things, and there's a lot offamous people that have done

(03:43):
some bad things in their life.
Now, I'm not condoning what OJdid in his life, that's not
whatsoever.
What I'm doing right now, whatI'm saying is that seeing all
those on social media yesterdaywas interesting to me.
It was, you know, and there wasa lot of people who got on that
that it was a tweet by Brucethere saying that.

(04:04):
And there's a lot of people whogot on the uh, that it was a
tweet by bruce there saying that.
And there's a lot of people whogot on the case then and they
said, uh, you don't have muchyou can talk about there.
It's just one of thosesituations where you really
don't know how to feel in thatsituation, just because of
everything that happened.
So so everybody's going to havetheir opinion.

(04:26):
They're going to feel one way, they're going to feel another
way.
But the way that I feel is I dofeel for the family, the family
that is grieving right now.
I do feel for them.
So that is all I have to say onthat situation.
But with that getting off ofthat, getting off of that, I
didn't want to get into it toomuch.
There isn't much to say thateverybody hasn't already said in

(04:47):
their own way, shape or form.
I just wanted to mention ithere on the show and basically
just say that to the family.
I am sorry, to the family thatI am sorry and I hope that they
all get better with time.
Here that's all I can say tothat whole situation.
But with that, I want to getinto the Brewers here, because

(05:08):
the Brewers, like I said, gotrained out yesterday their last
game of that series inCincinnati.
So they did, however, get thetwo to one series win against
the Cincinnati Reds there.
So good stuff there against theCincinnati Reds.
Now they'll move on and they'lltake on the Baltimore Orioles.
That should be a fantasticseries.

(05:28):
We're talking about a serieswhere we're going to see Corbin
Burns.
We're talking about a serieswhere we're going to have the
number one prospect in all ofbaseball going up against the
number two prospect in allbaseball, jackson Holiday,
jackson Churro.
This could be a fantasticseries here.
Brewers first game's tonight.
First game is tonight here.
It's going to be a 6-0-5 startin Baltimore there, freddy

(05:51):
Peralta taking on Wells for theOrioles in that one.
Looking at a little bit of thematchup history of these two
teams the Brewers with PeraltaPeralta's seen some of these
guys in the lineup for Baltimore.
Looking at guys like Urias andSantander, adley, ruchik and
O'Hearn, mountcastle, montejoand Hayes all have had

(06:14):
experience against Freddie.
Only one of those guys, two ofthose guys sorry, two of those
guys have had any kind ofsuccess against Freddie Peralta.
In two at-bats Hayes has got1,000 batting average and in two
at-bats Hayes has got a 1,000batting average and in two
at-bats O'Hearn has got a 500batting average.
Outside of that, zeros, zerosacross the board.
So good stuff there.
Out of Freddy Peralta, guyshave seen him but hey, not much

(06:35):
success.
That's what you love to seethere.
Looking down at the Brewersgoing up against Wells, only a
few guys have actually had timeagainst Wells there and no
success Adamas, bowers andSanchez, all from their AL time
there, all with no successagainst this Baltimore Orioles
starting pitcher in Wells here.
So good stuff there.

(06:56):
6.05 start tonight and thatwill be on Apple TV+.
Another season, another year ofApple TV.
I can't wait.
I can't wait Just to watch it.
Watch it.
I got to get anothersubscription.
I'll use apple tv besideswatching the brewers.
I got it last year and it wasjust to watch.
Like what six, seven I.
I believe 155 of the 162 gamesfor the brewers are on uh or 155

(07:21):
of the games are on b.
So then you take those otherwhat seven, seven games there,
and though between those sevengames I believe the Brewers are
only on ESPN, like one time.
So you knock that down to six.
So the Brewers will be on AppleTV about six times is what I
got out of that there.
So I don't know.
A lot of people don't like theoutside, um, I don't know A lot

(07:44):
of people don't like the outsideproviders, like Apple Peacock,
everything like that.
I get it, it's just anotherthing to have.
But this game by the Brewerswill be seen on Apple TV Plus
there.
So Brewers, orioles tonighthere, 6.05.
Tomorrow that game will be a3-0-5 start.

(08:05):
This could be a good one here.
Dl Hall facing his former teamthere Going up against Kremer
for the Orioles in that one.
You wouldn't expect many of theOrioles guys to have experience
against DL Hall in games, butthey've seen him before.
They've probably faced him inlive at-bats before, so they
know a little bit of what thisguy's got here in DL Hall.

(08:29):
For the Brewers, some of themhave seen Kremer before.
Adamas six at-bats, one homerun, one RBI there.
Bowers six at-bats, two RBIs, ahome run.
Monasterio not much successthere.
Yelich three at-bats, nosuccess.
And success there.
Yelich three at-bats, nosuccess.
And Sanchez and six at-bats is167 there.
So Brewers have seen Kremerjust a little bit, both

(08:49):
relatively younger.
This should be a very goodpitching matchup on Saturday
there for the Brewers a 3-0-5start there.
That one will be back on Bally.
It'll be on Bally WTMJ 620there, the Brewers Radio Network
.
It'll also be on the BrewersRadio Network for that Friday
night game, for tonight's gamehere.
So if you don't have Apple TVyou still want to get tuned into

(09:11):
the game there.
Just turn on the radio, turn onyour radio.
You'll hear the voices of Idon't think Brian Anderson is
back with the broadcast crew.
So you will hear the likes ofLane Grindle and I believe who
was the other guy that's on.
I can't remember the other guysoff the top of my head right
now.
No, bob Bucher, that's all weknow.

(09:31):
No Bob Bucher going to be therefor that one.
On the road On Sunday, though, the Brewers.
This is where they're going toface their former ace, the
former Cy Young winner.
For the Brewers, 12.35 startfor that one.
Colin Ray will be going upagainst Corbin Burns in a battle
of man.
That could be something.
Burns on the year 2-0 1.93 era,20 strikeouts.

(09:57):
Colin ray 2-0 1.64 era and fivestrikeouts on the year.
Looking at the matchups here, the ray are the orioles against
colin ray.
Not much success again for thisorioles team going up against
them.
They're in limited action.
Urias has got a 500 average,mccain's got a 500 average and
Hayes also has 500 average Allin two at-bats there.

(10:18):
Outside of that, nobody elsereally with any kind of not a
lot of experience and not a lotof success against this guy here
.
Looking at the Brewers, as youwould expect, not many guys in
this lineup have experience.
Outside of Reese Hoskins, he'sgot four at-bats and a 250
average.
And then Gary Sanchez in twoat-bats he's got one RBI and a

(10:38):
500 average.
So this game is going to besomething to watch.
In this series you're going tohave the likes of DL Hall facing
his old team and you're goingto have Corbin Burns facing his
old team, joey Ortiz facing hisold team.
It's going to be something.

(10:59):
It is going to be somethingthere.
I wonder how well you know youalways get those feelings when
you watch games where guys aregoing against their old clubs
and it's like, oh, he's got toprove something here, he's got
to show them like you shouldhave never gotten rid of me, you
should have kept this thingaround, you should have paid for
this, everything like that.
So it's definitely going to bea great series there to watch

(11:19):
that aspect.
To be honest, I hope the Brewersjust hit the crap out of Corbin
Burns.
Got to be honest with you.
I hope they hit the crap out ofCorbin Burns and we can just
say to ourselves yeah, that'sgood with me, that's good with
me, I'm all good with that.
I mean Burns.
He did good with the Brewers, had a great career with

(11:40):
Milwaukee, and we knew he wasgoing to want more money.
That's plain and simple.
He was going to want more money.
The Brewers ownership said wearen't going to give you more.
I mean they turned down andtrying to get his in court there
, in arbitration court, so weknew he was going to be gone
anyways.
Brewers trade him away.
I just don't really know ifthere can be that heart of

(12:04):
feelings.
I guess you could say Like I100% can see where you might say
you know there's going to besome bad blood and everything.
I mean it's not like CraigCouncil, craig Council left and
he went to the Cubs.
That's bad blood.
But this is a guy in CorbinBurns who got traded away simply

(12:24):
because the Brewers weren'tgoing to be able to afford to
pay him.
And you want to be upset at theguy but at the same time it's
like I can't really.
I can't knock the guy forwanting to get what he thinks
he's worth, right, and becauseif we knocked Corbin Burns for
that, then there's a lot of guysout there, the bigs, that we
should be knocking for that same.
I mean that same thing.

(12:46):
You look at a lot of the goodpitchers out there.
You look at a lot of goodhitters.
I mean you look at ShoyaOtani's contract and Manny
Machado and Bryce Harper, and Imean you could go all the way
around the board and look atthese guys' contracts and say
they got what they thought theydeserved.
Now, do I believe that some ofthese contracts are what anybody
in baseball deserves?

(13:07):
No, no, I don't believe that.
I've always been a sticklertowards guys who I mean, yeah,
according to the market andaccording to money and
everything like that, that's thecontract they're going to get.
I get that, don't get me wrong.
I 100% get it.
But it's also one of thosethings where, like, what does

(13:28):
that guy need that much moneyfor?
What does he need that muchmoney for and is he really
working for that money?
You know, it's all kinds ofthings like that that cross your
head when you think of thesebig money deals.
But I don't think there's goingto be any bad blood.
I don't Brewers.
I don't think that they.
I personally don't hate CorbinBurns simply because he went to

(13:48):
the Orioles on a trade becausethe Brewers weren't going to pay
him.
I don't hate Corbin Burnssimply because he went to the
Orioles on a trade because theBrewers weren't going to pay him
.
I don't hate him for that.
I don't.
I really don't.
It's like Josh Hader, I meanand that was a surprise trade.
That was a surprise trade thathad nothing to do with the guy
wanted more money at the time.
That was a surprise trade, butit's like that.

(14:10):
I don't hate Josh Hader, Idon't.
He went to a different team.
We knew we weren't going to beable to pay him.
Maybe he knew that he wasgetting traded, maybe he didn't.
Whatever it was, but I don'thate guys like that.
I don't.
Now, craig Council, you want todislike him for his move?
He was a free agent.
He had his choice to come backfor the Brewers and they were
going to pay him record money orgo somewhere else, and they

(14:32):
were going to pay him recordmoney.
He chose else, and that's badblood.
That ticks a guy off.
That ticks players off, management fans doesn't matter.
Ticks them all off.
Now, in hindsight, though, wouldI be okay if the Brewers
completely lit up Corbin Burns?
Yes, 100%, I'd be a-OK withthat.
I would be A-OK with watchingChristian Yelich go 4-for-4 with

(14:55):
two home runs and justlaunching him out of there, and
seeing some of these guys andJoey Ortiz taking them deep
That'd be awesome.
Watching Joey Ortiz take themdeep and saying you picked these
guys over me that would befantastic.
Now, will it happen?
We don't know, we don't know.

(15:25):
Corbin Burns has been pitchingpretty well this year.
I don't know, I don't know, butit's going to contact Not a lot
of power guys, I'd say morecontact guys.
So guys who are going to get onand they're going to try to
steal bases, guys who are goingto try to move the lineup, stuff
like that.
I think that's what you'regoing to see a lot of in this
series.
And two good bullpens, twopitching staffs that I mean Wade

(15:52):
Miley pitched the other day.
Wouldn't you say he's top three?
No, I mean, I get it, you know, but you're going to see the top
three in the Brewers rotationin this series Now that Freddie.
Freddie was supposed to pitchgame four of that red series but
his start got pushed back, sonow we get to see him here right
away.
That should be.
It should be a fantastic seriesall the way around.
So, brewers, that'll be theweekend slate there 6.05 tonight

(16:15):
.
Here it's 3.05 on Saturday and12.35 on Sunday.

But with that I got to get tothe fresh on the farm report
there.
Fresh on the farm report, wehave the Nashville Sounds.
Right now they are sitting atfive and six and they've had

(18:01):
some guys hitting pretty darnwell for them to start out this
young season.
Eric Hayes 333 down there rightnow he's got a home run for
this team.
Tyler Blunt and four RBIs to goalong with that.
Brewer Hicklin he's hitting 306, one home run, five RBIs and 11
hits.
And Tyler Black, he's hitting270 right now in this young

(18:22):
season down there with 10 hitson the year already Down there.
Looking at the pitching staffdown there for the Nashville
Sounds Tobias Myers, he's got 14strikeouts already on this
season here and Carlos Rodriguezhas 11 strikeouts for him
Earned runs.
Mckendry, he's struggling rightnow.
He's struggling down there 11earned runs on this young season

(18:45):
for the Sounds.
Looking at home runs given upthis is the problem.
He's got four home runs givenup there.
Tobias Myers two home runsgiven up there.
This is the problem.
He's got four home runs givenup there.
Tobias Myers two home runsgiven up there.
Jansen Junk with one home rungiven up on the year down there
so far.
Looking at innings pitchedMcKendree has faced the most
batters though 15 inningspitched down there for McKendree

(19:07):
.
Tobias Myers he's nine andtwo-thirds and Carlos F
Rodriguez in seven innings ofwork so far down there.
We've seen some good stuff.
We've seen some good stuff outof Carlos and Tobias Myers down
there.
Aaron Ashby he had thatfive-inning start down there for
the sounds so far here.
So good stuff there coming outof the Nashville sounds.

(19:30):
Looking over at the BiloxiShuckers now the Shuckers two
and four on this young season sofar Not starting out the
greatest, not a great start, butrespectable, respectable start.
Looking at the batting orderfor them Ernesto Martinez Jr
he's sitting at a 316 average.
Carlos D Rodriguez don't get amistake with Carlos F Rodriguez.

(19:51):
This is Carlos D Rodriguez 286down there right now.
Brock Wilkin 167, and EricBrown Jr 136.
Wes Clark he's sitting 125right now on this young season.
Looking at the home runs in theminors right now, and not much

(20:12):
going on there.
Freddy Zamora one home run andthat's about it.
That's about all to talk aboutdown there.
Ernesto, he's leading the teamin RBIs with three RBIs down
there and he's also leading inhits with six.
Eric Brown Jr has got three andCarlos D Rodriguez has four.
So a slow start offensively forthe Biloxi Shuckers down there.
So not great, not bad.

(20:35):
Right there, jacob Mizorowskihe's doing well down there, 11
strikeouts here to start out hisyoung season.
And also another good prospectdown there to check out, tyler
Woessner eight strikeouts therein his innings work there.
Just looking at innings pitchso far here for this team looks

(20:55):
like Jacob Mizorowski.
He's pitched sevening in athird.
And then Tyler Wosner, he'ssitting at six innings pitch
down there at the double a levelfor the Brewers there.
So good stuff there coming outof Biloxi.
We jump over to the WisconsinTimber Addlers and they've had a
hot start to this young seasonhere.
Four and one in this youngseason.

(21:17):
Looking at batting averageright now, the I mean they have
some hot hitters down there atWisconsin high a 500 average for
Matthew Wood, catcher down.
Mike Bovey sitting at 389.
Dylan O'Rea sitting at 389.
Jesus Chirinos 385.
And Terrence Dotson has startedat 333.
Jeremy Vargas 273.

(21:38):
So Luis Lara, good prospect forthe Brewers down there, keep an
eye on him.
263.
He's got his average up alittle bit down there at high A,
but good stuff all the wayaround there.
A lot of high batting averagesto start this young year.
Jeremy Vargas is the only guyto take somebody deep.
So far he's got one home run onthis young season Yadier
Arminio, though five RBIs.
We have Dylan O'Reilly withfour, along with Jesus Chirnos

(22:01):
and Gregory Barros also withfour, mike Bovey with three and
Luis Lara with two RBIs on thisyoung season.
Bovey leads the team and hitswith seven, dylan O'Rea with
seven, and then you have a listof five here Luis Lara, Jesus
Chirinos, gregory Barrows andYadier Amino, all with five on
the year here.
So good stuff there Coming outof the high A.

(22:22):
Timber rattlers right now, fourand one on this young season.
Another four and one team rightnow.
We, the carolina mudcats, coming into this one, four and
one heading into the weekendhere and it's on the back of you
guessed it.
There.
A lot of good hitting going ondown there in.
Uh, low a.

(22:42):
Daniel guillarte 500 averageright now.
Tadden Hall 400 average.
Yoshua Garcia.
That is a heck of a name.
That is a heck of a name rightthere Y-H-O-S-W-A-R.
I don't know how you would saythat one.
It's probably easy right.

(23:03):
But I'm not good with names, weknow this.
You've listened to the showbefore you know this.
Names are a son of a gun whenit comes to the brewers there.
So he's hitting 375 down there, satchel norman 333, juan baez
320 right now and jofreyrodriguez is sitting at 286 on
this young season right now.

(23:23):
One home run from k lan nicasia, right fielder down there.
Rbi-wise Cooper Pratt a greatprospect for the Brewers just
drafted this last year.
He's got six RBIs on this youngseason here.
For the Mudcats, hits-wise JuanBaez leads them in hits, and
then you have Yafri Rodriguezwith six, along with Taden Hall

(23:44):
and Yoshua Garcia there with sixalso.
So good stuff coming out of theMudcats.
They're hitting wise on thepitching side of it right now.
Ryan Burchard leads them instrikeouts with six, along with
Josh Timmerman, and YominarHerrera also has six on this

(24:04):
young season here.
Earned runs not a lot of runsgiven up so far by this team.
You have guys like ManuelRodriguez, aiden Maldonado all
both with three earned runs onthe year Jefferson Figuero and
Jormen Galadez also has two.
Josh North, another pitcher theBrewers drafted here this last
season.
He's got two.

(24:24):
So a lot of good stuff comingout of the Mudcats right now.
Pitching and hitting-wise.
That team has started out verywell in this young season here.
So with that, that is thefresh-on-the-farm report for the
day here.
If you're around the state ofWisconsin, you've got to get to
a Timber Rathers game.
All good stuff there fromWisconsin.
And you know, I believe snow isall gone now, so at least they

(24:47):
don't have to worry about thatanymore.
I saw a video of them shovelingthat thing off before they were
able to play a game.
I was like, yep, it feels likehigh school.
Back in high school, we had alate snowstorm one year I
believe it was 2018.
We had a late snowstorm and ourcoach got so bored of us just

(25:08):
doing the same thing over andover again you only do so much,
right and he got sick of it.
Sick of it.
So he takes us up to thebaseball field with shovels and
a snowblower and says let's getthis baby cleared off.
So we spent a week of baseballpractices up at the baseball
field there cleaning snow, justcleaning snow every day and it
was like, oh yeah, this makessense, this makes sense.

(25:29):
I'm learning a lot aboutbaseball today.
He always would make itinteresting, though He'd be like
, all right, when you throw thisthing of snow, I want you to
swing it like your baseball bat.
So you would blow it up andyou'd swing, and he's like that
was wrong.
I'm like I don't know what youwant me to do.
I'm swinging a shovel like Ijust got a curve in the handle.

(25:50):
What am I supposed to do?
Right now?
It's gonna look messed up, butno, I mean it was.
It was fun, it was a good time,it was a good time.
Good time all the way aroundthere.
I gotta say clearance.
No, I I probably never had abetter time clearing snow than
clearing snow with those guys upin the baseball field.
I mean we had drifts out therethat were top six, two 6'2".
They were taller than me.
It was ridiculous.
We had these drifts up and Ihad to clear them all the way we

(26:13):
had to.
There was no reason for it.
It was snowing, it was stillcold, like it's not, like we
were going to play there thenext day, but we were cleaning
that baby off.
We can't ever get wet, he'd go.
I'm so good stuff there, goodstuff there coming out of the
fresh out of the farm report.
But with that I want to talk alittle MLB standings here quick,

(26:34):
before we move on.
The Brewers have actually movedinto first place in the NL
Central, thanks to well.
They didn't really play a gameyesterday, whether it was going
to be a win or a loss.
They didn't play Eight andthree on the year there.
The Pirates they are tied forfirst there but with a 9-4
record right now.
The Chicago Cubs are sitting agame and a half back.
They're 7-5.
The Reds at 6-6, and theCardinals at 6-7 here to start

(26:57):
the young season.
Looking at run differentialright now the Brewers are plus
17 right now in run differential, followed by the Pirates who
are 15.
And then you had the Cubssitting at 11 right now, and
then you had the Cubs sitting at11 right now.
And then you had the CincinnatiReds.
They're zero.
They're sitting at a zero rightnow.
63 runs scored, 63 runs allowedon the year here.
And the Cardinals they'renegative five right now.
55 runs given up there, 250scored at the moment here.

(27:21):
Looking at the NL East.
Right now the Braves cominginto action into the weekend
here, seven-4 overall right now, plus 14 in run differential.
The only team and this issurprising, the only team in the
NL East with a plus or abovenegative run differential on the
year.
You look at the Phillies insecond place right now 7-6.

(27:42):
They have a negative 4.
The Mets negative 1 right now.
You have the Nationals negative14, and the Marlins negative 30
.
They're 2-11 on the year rightnow.
They are sitting 47-77 rightnow.
Runs scored, two runs allowed.
So interesting stuff rightthere.
And then you flip script over tothe NL West.
You have three teams in thatplus run differential.

(28:03):
You have the Dodgers in firstat 10-5, padres 7-8,.
The Arizona Diamondbacks 6-7right now.
All those teams with a plus rundifferential.
The Arizona Diamondbacksactually plus 17 in run
differential right now.
The Padres sitting at plus 5.
And the Dodgers sitting at plus13 at the moment.
Right now.
And if you want to compare theBrewers to some high-powered

(28:25):
offenses, some high-poweredteams, the Brewers sitting at 65
runs scored, the Dodgers, thePadres, the Braves, all sitting
at 80s to 70s, with the Dodgershaving a lot of.
They have extra games in theretoo which are helping them out
in that aspect there.
Looking at the rest of thatdivision, there though, the
Giants five and eight.
They have a negative 15 rundifferential and the Colorado

(28:47):
Rockies three and 10.
They have a negative 35 rundifferential right now 54 runs
scored to 89 runs allowed there.
Looking over at the AL, the ALEast has started here.
We got the Yankees in firstplace right now, 10-3.
The Baltimore Orioles 8-4.
We have the Boston Red Sox 7-6.
The Rays at 7-6.

(29:07):
And the Toronto Blue Jays at6-7 right now.
So good stuff there in the ALEast, not good stuff that the
Yankees are up top.
Nobody wants to see that.
Nobody wants to see the Yankeesat the top of that division
there.
So, looking at the AL Central,we've seen some surprising hot
starts here In the AL CentralCentral.

(29:28):
We have the Cleveland Guardianssitting at nine and three, the
Kansas City Royals starting atnine and four right now, detroit
Tigers they're sitting at sevenand four, the Twins at four and
six and the White Sox at twoand ten right now.
I mean you're looking at theGuardians and the Royals right
now plus 35 and plus 39 rundifferentials.
That's crazy.
That's crazy for two teams.

(29:49):
That I mean, mean the Guardianshave been decent over the years
here, but Royals not so much.
And this team?
They just came off a four-gamesweep against the Astros there.
So interesting stuff there.
That moves us to the AL West.
To wrap it up here, the HoustonAstros 7-6, are the Texas
Rangers, the Angels coming in atsix and six, the oakland a's at

(30:11):
five and eight, the seattlemariners five and eight and the
houston astros at four and ten.
On this young season here, theal west not faring very well to
start the year plus 20 and rundifferential for the rangers.
But outside of that, a lot ofnegatives, a lot of negatives
there down the board in the alwest.
So al west, not hot to startthis young season here.
But with that, before we moveon here, I just wanted to

(30:35):
mention a few of our sponsorshere.
Quick of the show.
First, century 21 gold keyrealty.
Call peggy sewer anna to findyour dream home.

hometown team, century 21 goldkey realty.
Or stop in and see them attheir location in marshfield,
also pittsville farm and homecenter.
At the store they serve youanything from hydraulic hoses to

(30:55):
red roses.
Stop in and see the awesomecrew at pittsville farm and home
center in pittville, wisconsin, and also sports scene sport

If you've been injured recentlywhether it was at work or on

basketball court, whatever itwas and you need some physical
therapy, stop in there and seeChad at sport and spine clinic

(31:18):

He'll get you right.
He'll get you back to work, back on the court, back on the

Sport and Spine Clinic inGreenwood, wisconsin.
But with that we got to get tothe Bucs.
Bucs are going to be in actiontwice over the weekend here to
wrap up the regular season.
Here.
First coming up tonight they'regoing to have the Oklahoma City
Thunder.
That will be at the Thunder forthat game here 7 o'clock start

(31:43):
on NBA TV for that one.
Looking at the last five of eachone of these ball clubs, here
we have OKC coming to this one.
They're coming off wins againstCharlotte, the Kings and San
Antonio there a three-game winstreak heading into this game
against the Bucs here.
They did lose to Boston there135-100, and the Pacers 126-112

(32:04):
before those matchups there.
So they are 3-5 in their lastfive games there.
So are 3-5, 3-2 in their lastfive Sorry, it's early in the
morning right now it's early inthe morning Brain farts going on
all the way around there.
3-2 in their last two and threeand two, I'm right, I'm right.

(32:25):
Three and two in their lastfive.
I'm confusing myself now.
The Bucs heading into thisseries here they are two and
three in their last five gamesthere.
They got wins against the Magicin Boston as of late, but
before that losing games to theKnicks, toronto and Memphis
before that one there.
So they got it.
This is going to be a big gamefor the Bucs here.

(32:45):
Kind of set the tone headinginto the playoffs, said, hey, we
can win some games.
I mean, you beat a team likeBoston, you beat a team in the
Magic who are on the cusp of aplayoff berth and we're, I mean,
right behind you in thestandings there.
So good things coming thisweekend here.
Bucks thunder that'll betonight here seven o'clock start

(33:05):
for that game there.
And then also the bucks will bein action one more time on
sunday.
That'll be a matchup at orlando.
They're gonna be taking on themagic there.
That'll be a noon start forthat game and heading into this
one, we have the magic.
They've I mean, they've beenplaying well 28 and 12 at home.

(33:26):
They're not a good road teambut they played well at home and
they have wins against chicagoand pelicans in their last five.
They're there two and three intheir last five losing games to
charlotte, to uh, the rocketsand the bucks in that last five,
in that last five there.
Just looking at this team here, you've seen them.
You know what you're going toget the Bucs.

(33:47):
So far in the season they aretwo and one against this Magic
team.
So looking to go three and onein the regular season series
against this team here.
So good stuff there coming outof the Bucs heading into a big
weekend slate here before theyget some time off with the
play-in games happening, butthen the playoffs start.
Hopefully Giannis is back andeverything is good in that

(34:08):
aspect.
So with that, looking at the NBAstandings right now kind of
just where everything stands asof right now.
So you're looking at you'relooking at the standings right
now and you're saying toyourself okay, the Eastern
Conference is basically figuredout the Celtics, the Bucs, the
Knicks, the Cavaliers, the Magic, the Pacers, the 76ers, the

(34:32):
Heat, the Bulls and the Hawks.
Those are your 10 teams.
That will.
Every other team has beeneliminated from the picture
there.
So you look at a couple ofteams still hanging around the
Knicks and the Cavaliers 14games back are the Knicks of
first place, but they're a gameback of the Bucs right now.
So that's something to watchthere.
The Bucs you still havesomething to play for if you are

(34:54):
the Bucs right now, to get thattwo seed in the playoffs.
I don't know if you want thethree seed, but right now you're
clinched a playoff berth, butyou haven't clinched that two
spot.
So got to win at least one ofthese next two games here and I
believe you should be okay inthat aspect there.
The Cleveland Cavaliers they'resitting two games back right
now.
A little bit harder for them tomake up ground on the Bucs

(35:17):
there, but two games back there.
And then you have the Magic 16games back there.
And then you have the magic 16games back.
There's three games back at thebucks and the pacers three
games back.
So not a lot of movement goingto be happening in that area.
The sixers 76ers could jump upinto the six there.
They are sitting 17 games backright now, but they have won six
in a row ever since joelle andb came back.

(35:40):
This team has been a lot better.
So maybe the bucks can avoidhaving to see one of those teams
as a two seed.
If they, if the sixers pop outof there and that would leave
the heat as the one team on thebottom half, maybe they avoid
the sixers in the first round.
It's definitely going to besomething interesting there to
watch, but those are your 10teams that will be in the

(36:00):
playoff picture in some wayshape or form.
There in the west right now wehave that one figured out.
Also.
You have teams the denvernuggets they're sitting in first
place right now.
The timberwolves and thunder, both sitting a game back.
Then you have the clippers andyou have the mavericks five and
six games back there.
The pelicans sitting eightgames back, then you have

(36:21):
theicans sitting eight gamesback, then you have the Suns,
nine games back, all first place.
Sitting in the seventh spot, theSacramento Kings, the Golden
State Warriors and the LosAngeles Lakers all sitting 11
games back as of right now.
The Warriors the hottest teamof all of them, though In their
last 10, they are nine, and onein their last 10.
The Lakers seven and three intheir last 10, the Kings 4-6 in

(36:42):
their last 10.
And that's had a lot to do withwhy they're sitting in that 8
spot now.
But there still could be alittle bit of movement there.
The Warriors could playthemselves up to an 8 seed.
We could have the Lakersplaying themselves up to an 8
seed right now, the Kingsstaying at that 8 seed Lots of
things can still happen in thatNBA picture as this weekend
wraps up here.
So the West is a little moredicey than the East, I would say

(37:05):
.
When you look at the East, between 8th and 10th place right
now there's an 8-gamedifference.
I mean you look at the MiamiHeat, they're 18 games back.
First you look at the AtlantaHawks, they're 26 games back.
So you're looking at an 8-gamedifference there between those
two teams teams, and then evenlooking at the bulls, they're
for 24 games back.
They, I mean they're six gamesback of that eight spot.

(37:28):
So eight, I mean from eight up.
You could see some movement yetin that east.
I don't expect much movementhappening there at the bottom
half though, especially becausethe hawks have lost actually
four games in a row now headinginto this final weekend, and I'm
not sure I'm just going tocheck it out real quick there.
I'm not sure what they haveleft.
They have the Timberwolves leftand they have the Pacers left,

(37:50):
and the Pacers are still playingfor something they could be
playing for staying out of thatplay-in game, uh, coming up here
.
So it's going to be interestingto see come Sunday there what
the Pacers throw out, because ifthey're still playing for a six
seed at that point, if they'restill trying to get that six
seed, they're going to beplaying everybody, and that's
not going to help the Hawks out.
So that's not going to helpthem out at all there.

(38:11):
So then, I don't know, it'sgoing to be interesting to see
where this whole thing shakesout If the Bucs get the two.
I'm hoping the Bucs get the two.
I don't know.
Would you want the two?
Would you want the two and play, let's just say, hypothetical
world?
Would you want the two if youhad to match up with the 76ers
or the Heat coming out of theplay-in game?

(38:32):
Or would you rather have, let'sjust say, the three seed and
you would play right now?
You would have the Pacers ingame one.
Which one would you rather have?
That's interesting because theHeat have always given the Bucs
trouble in the playoffs.
The Sixers now that they'rehealthy they're dangerous, and
the Pacers they've had the Bucsnumber this year.

(38:53):
So who would you rather have?
And I think it's going to be alot, it's going to be hinging on
if Giannis is back and that'sgoing to be a big deciding
factor on if I would want any ofthem.
So with that, that's about allI got for today.
Brewers-bucks coming up thisweekend wrapping up the Bucks
season there before the playoffsstart.
Brewers just getting into thethick of things for this young

(39:15):
season and they got a bigmatchup this weekend here with
the Orioles, with former BrewerCorbin Burns Lots of good stuff
there.
So with that, this has beenWisconsin Sports on the go with
Trage.
Thank you guys for listening.
We'll catch you guys back hereon Monday, but until then, I
hope you guys enjoy your Friday.
But until we catch you guysback here on the show on Monday,
