As a woman team leader in real estate, I mistakenly had the view that if something was going to be done right, I had to do it.

Not only was that a recipe for burnout, but it was also arrogant of me. As my business grew, I wore many hats, and it was impossible to do everything myself without making costly mistakes.

If that resonates with you, I invite you to listen to today’s full episode. I will share my story of hiring an amazing transaction manager and how I failed to allow her to do her job. You see she was much more capable of detailed work than me and both of us were frustrated.

Now, I get that it’s hard to trust someone to handle important facets of your business. It was often said of me that people had to earn my trust. And the way to allow people to earn your trust is what I’ll talk about in today’s episode.

The overriding principle in today’s message is that if you don’t learn to delegate and build trust with your team, you will suffer burnout. And when that happens, your entire team suffers.
